We stayed 3 nights to utilize the bike trail that is situated right in front of the motel. There are bike racks in front. We stayed Sunday through Wednesday and found the grounds quite peaceful. If you love taking advantage of sitting outside in the Northwoods but enjoy the convenience of motel lodging, this is the place to stay. Kay is the manager of this beautiful motel. She puts out an amazing breakfast of scrambled eggs and sausage with warm cinnamon rolls along with the usual continental breakfast items. Kay is very friendly and runs an amazing motel. Rooms are spacious and amazingly clean and updated. Bed mattress is comfortable for allowing a good nights rest. Refrigerator, microwave, and large counter top are in all rooms. Chairs and tables are provided for sitting outside your patio. There's also a sitting deck area outside with a table and chairs with gas fireplaces and outdoor heaters. The backside rooms face the woods and are very peaceful. There is also an inviting pool area with a hot tub. We stayed in a King room # 159 on the backside of the motel. Our room had a fireplace with 2 overstuffed chairs, large tv, bathroom had Jacuzzi bathtub with large vanity area. If you have ebikes there was an outlet outside our room (between rooms 157 double queen and our room) for charging. I didn't notice any other outdoor outlets on any other rooms. Understandably, due to safety concerns, eBikes are not allowed in rooms due to lithium batteries. We felt it was safe and locked our bikes right outside on our patio. My only suggestion would be to have a garage available for ebikes for inclimate weather.|Thank you, Kay and your staff, for an...

Read moreTucked behind groves of pines in the northern wilderness of Wisconsin you can find an oasis of a lodge in the Whitetail. The scenery and location of the hotel is unmatched with whitetails darting across the gravel bike and walking trails that line the hotel's perimeter. ||The rooms of the hotel are second to none: they are UNBELIEVABLY CLEAN, SPACIOUS, AND BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED. ||The staff is friendly and welcoming. The pool and hot tub spaces were not well used - and for why I don't know! They are well-sized, treated well with chemicals (not too much, not too little), and have beautiful views into the woods behind the hotel. ||Spacious common areas make up the hotel's lobby with nice seating. The breakfast was excellent. ||The bathrooms are slightly older, albeit quaint, but EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN. The rooms had all the counter space you would want, plenty of outlets, comfortable beds, and a stunning walk-out patio. ||My family has traveled to St. Germain for years, and I think this might have just been our best stay yet. Keep up the WONDERFUL work, Whitetail Lodge! This is truly a...
