I don’t even know where to begin. As an avid traveler, I love how Daniel and his team have taken European taste and meshed it with Catskills charm. You can totally see the Austrian influence all throughout. The yogi influence, with yoga mat and tools provided, Buddha statue and thoughtful hammock swings, well-designed deck for recreation and lounging, is also amazing! The spa shower was to die for, amazing water pressure and heat — I’d imagine this is fantastic after a day of skiing. The appliances were gorgeous and all new. I stayed in the Little Owly suite and loved the purple and all of the owls throughout. The wooden touches in the bathroom with the stone sink and black and gold faucet added such a luxurious flare. AC unit and fans worked well. I felt totally secure the entire time I was there, even as a young single woman. I did yoga outside on the privacy of my deck in the evening and hardly encountered any insects! The moss-covered hill was so lovely to experience. The space is perfectly designed to pull the large queen bed out from under the eating space (like a loft almost) and the mattress was SO comfortable. All linens provided were great quality. You can tell that Daniel and his wife have elite taste and lots of hospitality experience. Would love to return in every season and...

Belleayre Mountain is a family mountain, not a frat boys’ party or the inappropriate delivery of this unit. Unfortunately, this place was not as described, and it does not meet adequate standards.
Upon arrival, outside the door were the garbage bags, which the cleaning service had just left and did not properly dispose of.
I entered the unit to find clothes in the washer/dryer, along with dog hair. The top “blanket” for the bed in the photos appeared to be a shaggy floor rug with rubber grips on the bottom. Not for sleeping, that’s for sure. (see attached images).
There is a LOCKED box with Snacks (basic snacks, chips, pretzels, etc. - individual bags), which you then are asked to VENMO the owner 3 dollars a snack or 10 dollars for 4.
The bedroom featured a fireplace with no wood in sight within the premises. Additionally, there was a bottle of lighter fluid to help ignite the fire, which was troubling.
I could go on, but it’s important to note that what was most troubling was THE CONDOM I found on the chair in plain sight. I don’t suggest staying here. I’ve been coming to this mountain for years.
The location is excellent but not significant enough to...
Read moreI have nothing but wonderful things to say about Scott and the Alpine Osteria. From the first phone call we had with Scott, we knew he was a kind soul and we were in good hands. In every possible way, he will go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and fully satisfied with every aspect of your stay. The rooms are spotless and Scott's attention to detail is fantastic. Even the bathroom towels are color-coordinated to match the color scheme of the room. Not only is Scott a fantastic host, but a fantastic chef! We stayed for two nights and had two equally delicious breakfasts prepared and served by Scott. He also gave us vouchers for ski rental and lift ticket discounts-- and the mountain is a 30 second drive up the hill. We loved Scott and we loved our stay, and we will certainly...
