Went upstate for a quick weekend getaway our stay was fantastic. Frank helped us check in and was very helpful in making us feel comfortable throughout our time there. Breakfast is amazing as well. I wish I was able to try everything on the menu! Karen helped us with our orders and made sure we got everything that we needed. Even though we went sightseeing on our trip the Gateway was definitely the highlight of our weekend. We also had a smores event by the campfire making the whole experience very memorable. I would definitely recommend everyone to stay here and I would love to come back again! :)

Would and will recommend this place to anyone visiting the Catskills! By the end of the trip we acknowledged not only that we had an exceptional stay but that we had also saved a ton of money and had a five star experience. The food was excellent and perfect fuel before a long 6+ mile hike up Panther Mountain (at the host - Frank’s - recommendation). From the cozy rooms to the great service this experience personified exactly what a weekend stay in the Catskills should be - timeless, and hospitable! We will definitely be back this Fall/ Winter for skiing season! Thank you SO much for having us 🩷

This is the cutest b&b ever! An amazing location for a quiet getaway, close to lots of outdoors activities. The owners are the most welcoming, attentive, and kind hosts and are truly invested in creating a refreshing and delightful experience for all of their guests. We had to leave early in the morning on check-out day and didn't have time to stay for a sit down breakfast (pure deliciousness!)— Frank made us the most delicious breakfast sandwiches for the road. Such a thoughtful gesture that makes this the kind of place we will be returning to and cannot recommend enough. Stay here, now!

Shame on me – I almost never write reviews- however… the Gateway at Pine Hill deserves every bit of praise possible!! We could only stay one night, but wish we could have stayed longer. Jessica and Justin were our amazing hosts. Their home and hospitality exceeded all expectations. If you are skiing and looking for a nearby place to Belleayre to rest comfortably, fill your bellies with yumminess and enjoy a weekend escape, this is the place for you! |- The home is literally 2 min across the road from the mountain – proximity check! |- We booked the Rossmore suite for my husband and 3 teenagers – plenty of room for us all. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the duvet bedding was so fluffy. The bathrooms were spotless and the towels were thick and great quality too. Cleanliness and quality sleep – check! |- There’s a happy hour at 4pm, where the kids enjoyed the hot chocolate bar with whip cream, chocolate chips and sprinkles, and my husband and I had some of their house wine which was lovely. Maybe it's the mountain spring water, but the kids said it was one of the best hot chocolates they've ever had. There is a fireplace and a few couches in the large common-space area to chill out in, which we did after a full day at Belleayre. They had chess, scrabble and a big selection of other fun sitting activities -board games, card games, books, coloring etc... Comfy chillaxin – check! |- One of the unexpected highlights was how satisfied my belly was from the incredible breakfast that we had - blueberry pancakes were terrific and the homemade challah bread French toast that Justin makes from scratch was divine. Yumminess- check! |Overall, Justin and Jessica were fantastic hosts. Their warmth and kindness was palpable the second you walked in the door, then couple that with the charm of their home and their attention to detail in making sure we felt comfortable made for the perfect stay!! Even my teenagers were content- WHAT!! We will be back again!!! Thank you Justin and Jessica (and Auggie) for taking such great care of us in...

I cannot say enough good things about The Gateway. From start to finish, Frank & Jackie made our stay so memorable. My partner and I headed up to The Gateway this past weekend to celebrate our anniversary and were immediately charmed with the residence. Everything felt so homey and comforting and Frank & Jackie were warm and inviting as soon as we arrived. The property itself is beautiful, very clean and comfortable (the bed in the Ulster was so cozy) while still keeping the building's original charm. It's clear Frank & Jackie are amazing, hospitable hosts who care about making sure your experience is special and one of a kind. The breakfast each morning was amazing and the choices were diverse and delicious. Get the breakfast burrito, you won't be sorry (don't take it off the menu, Frank)! They even put a sparkler in our burrito as a little anniversary celebration. There's a lot to do in the area if you like winter sports/activities, but even if you don't, you won't be bored! We explored the neighboring towns, did some shopping, and then came back to a cozy night of playing cards down in the common room with some wine that Frank graciously offered us. Top to bottom, this stay was fantastic and we will absolutely...
