A true gem! As a bird photographer, I became interested in spending some time at the Shawangunk Grasslands. I googled places to stay and found this charming B and B right down the street from the Grasslands. We were delighted with our choice! ||||The inn keepers, Dan and Christina were friendly, down to earth and very accommodating of all our needs, including my very fussy dietary needs. They had a clear understanding of food sensitivity issues and went above and beyond to make sure food for me used in meals was gluten-free and vegetarian. The food was fresh, delicious and lovingly prepared and served. Dinner time, with a candle lit table, and a 4 course meal, was like being in a 5 star restaurant! The second night of our stay, we were joined by another couple, and we had so much fun laughing and talking! That reminded me what travel is all about, making new friends and experiencing great environments. ||||The house is a great Mid-Century gem surrounded by mountain ridges, nature and grand horse breeding farms. In the morning, I watched the sunrise over the farm with horses grazing in the pasture. Bliss. ||||Our room was beautiful, cozy, clean with an updated and gorgeously designed full bathroom! The whole house was immaculately clean, and lovingly decorated. I never felt uncomfortable as our hosts are easy going, creative and interesting. We found ourselves enjoying many conversations with them about many things we all had in common like music, art and photography. ||||The spa was beautiful and inviting. I had a message on both nights of our visit as a Valentine's gift from my partner. They were fabulous! ||||We enjoyed the Grasslands and spent much time there, but this Spa B and B surely made it a memorable experience! Dan and Christina have put so much love and dedication to this place. I'd like to keep this peaceful gem my "little secret," but it would be ashamed to keep it from others looking for an amazing experience! ||||We will definitely be back!!||||Sincerely, ||||Dori Kelly W,...
Read moreI Wish I could give this review 10 stars! I had been eyeing this place for awhile now on IG and told my Boyfriend about it. When I saw the view and the horses I Just knew we had to book it! Arriving at the property during sunset was a magnificent view! You could see the horse's silhouettes dancing upon the horizon. We were greeted by warm and friendly faces who were eager to show us around. The home is well kept and decorated with beautiful photography throughout. Our room was serene and peaceful. I couldn't get over how quiet it was up there. I slept like a baby the entire time we were there. Dan served delicious fresh meals which we enjoyed outdoors on the patio overlooking the horses. It was picturesque, to say the least
Read moreWe had a fantastic stay this weekend at the Serene Vista Spa Bed & Breakfast! Our son and new daughter in law held their wedding at nearby Lippincott Manor, just a short 5 minute ride from the B&B, so that was super convenient. The owners, Dan and Christina, were gracious hosts who put up with our ever changing guest list at the B&B over the weekend. They accommodated extra guests with a nice air mattress and cot at the last minute. Dan provided excellent breakfast fare and really good coffee, while Christina's spa staff pampered me with a massage and Judy a pre-wedding facial. We would recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a nice get away weekend in the lower Hudson River Valley or to folks going to Lippincott Manor for event. Seeing the horses from a nearby farm grazing by the fence was an added bonus to our stay. The views were...
