Simple, no-frills, gets the job done. This isn’t a luxury hotel by any means, but the room was clean, staff was friendly, and location was good. I stayed for two nights while in town for business - finding a hotel in the Hamptons in August that doesn’t break the bank isn’t easy, and this hotel proved to be a good value (though still incredibly expensive for what it was). The check in was super easy, my room was ready early, and they put me in a room near the end for a bit more privacy as a woman staying alone which was appreciated. I have to give a huge shout out to the woman who checked me in - she was warm, friendly, and SO hospitable. She gave me a map to help get oriented to the area, tons of recommendations for things to do and see, as well as tips for how to make the most of my time. Our lengthy conversation during check in made me feel incredibly welcome and much more comfortable staying there. The rooms are simple, but mine was clean and had the amenities I needed to be comfortable. I loved that the bathroom came stocked with some samples of sunscreen! The bed was a bit hard, but was fine for the two nights. Bedding was incredibly soft and cozy, which helped. No outlets near the bed though, which is always a miss for me. Location was great for me - just a quick drive from Main Street Southampton and easy access to through roads to other parts of the Hamptons. Overall a pleasant stay and the hotel met my needs - it’s not luxury, but is a functional place to rest for a few nights.

Bed is stiff, and there's no closet to hang stuff oh and the armore where they intend you hang your clothes houses a mini fridge and microwave. Which is great amenities considering there is no coffee maker in the room. It was okay because I was working my whole stay while I was there and bright my own coffee maker. Not sure if I'd go back though the beds are really uncomfortable.

Fair place to stay if your looking for something last minute. Room could use a nice coat of paint and some modern furniture. Location is great close to everything. It was definitely clean. Not for you if you are looking for something fancy. Shower, TV and heat/ac worked perfectly

Expensive, but anyone that is planning on taking a trip to the Hamptons should already know this. I had a friend who lived there so we could go to most of the beaches. These are restricted beaches which requires a mandatory sticker on your car every season. Alongside this, entry to most beaches costs $15 - $20 per day. However there are a few free beaches but it is impossible to find a parking spot.

My friends family recently came in to a very wealthy state and they have no problem absorbing the cost. I was in shock when my friend's family suggested we all have hamburgers and fries. Each order came out to $22-27 each. For the food we ate, I was in a having a difficult time trying to figure out what could justifiable this meal. I offered to pay my share but they refused. For a family 5 and me the order came out to just over $190 with tax and tip.

For dinner my friend, his mom and I had went to the fish market. I tried to explain that I wasn't hungry but my friend and his mom knew Better. I told them that I wasn't feeling well and sat outside. We had fish and crabs which was bought fresh for what came out to be a hair under $300. I was invited to stay the week but after this I was considering leaving sooner. I went to my room and started eating bars I had brought. Once I counted how many protein bars I had, I figured I could stay for 3 days I brought with me. I asked where the local store was because I had to pick up a few things. My friends mother insisted she tell me what I needed but insisted she was going to get a few things also and wanted to know what I needed so my friend and I could go on the boat. I refused and said I really didn't need anything.

I wish I could remember the name of the store but I sadly cannot recall. It was a typical know what I needed and told me to just f permarket like a ShopRite or Walgreens. I went to check out the store before I left I drove to the supermarket just to check it out.

I was expecting prices of the store to be higher but they were at least triple the prices for just about anything. I was used to back home and I believe my friend's mom caught on to this and I told her I wasn't feeling well and I was going to have to leave the next morning. To make long story short she understood what was going on and insisted I stay the week and not worry about cost. They moved there because her husband's company was doing very well and earned well over $1 million dollars in the last 2 contracts and that's the reason they purchased a summer home there. Nevertheless I tried to live off of what I had, but my friend's mother would have none of it. I tried to at the very least help around the house but there was very little I was able to do once I found out that 4 maid's take care of the house 4 times a week.

I felt miserable most of my stay and at the end of the week I explained to him that we have changed. We were both upper-middle class our entire lives up until the last year. I felt very uncomfortable not being able to cover my part instead of having his family covering everything. Just the thought of spending $3,000 a week on food alone, I don't have the financial capabilities of living the lifestyle he lives now and I don't work at my dad's company like he does. Ii wish I could take the summer off anytime I want or just set my own hours but I can't. I don't know how our friendship is going to go. We talked on the phone twice since July and I just had struggled with the...

We stayed for one night in Room 1. It had 2 queen beds, a desk and chair, a small fridge and microwave (we did not use these items), a cupboard with some hangers in it, and a large TV. One of the beds was in a sort of alcove. It did not have a headboard. The bathroom had a tub with shower. The off-season rate for our room with 2 beds was $40 more than a smaller room with 1 bed. ||Pros: Convenient just-off highway location for exploring the Hamptons. Pleasant, helpful staff. The room was clean.||Cons: The shower curtain liner looked mildewed. The shower faucet was not fully fixed to the tiled wall; it wobbled alarmingly when we tried to lift the lever to direct the flow from the tub to the shower. It was also difficult to adjust the water temperature. There was no seating in the room except for the small chair. We found some plastic cups in the bathroom. There were no amenities such as bottled water or a coffeemaker (there was some coffee in the reception area). ||In summary, it was basic no-frills motel accommodation with kind,...
