Rest Well Inn — Hotel in Town of Tomah

I made a reservation on Wednesday with the Husband for a Saturday night stay. Called around 1:00pm Saturday to ask how late I could check in, and to make sure all was good with the reservation of course since I was on a motorcycle 200 miles from home. The Wife answered and said she was sorry but they were full and had no rooms for me and my wife. NOT HAPPY. After calling the Husband, waiting for him to call his Wife, then call me back, he did say they had a room for me, but by then MY wife didn't want to trust that there actually WAS a room available, and that the owners would be very happy to have us after the way I voiced my displeasure on the phone. I had a U-Haul scheduled to pick up from this location for their 24/7 after hours pickup. I arrived only to discover that the employees didn’t do their jobs and hadn’t put the key in a lockbox like they usually do. When I called, the employee he said “come on U-Haul is closed” and promptly hung up on me. I called again and was treated with the same condescending tone and disrespect as the employee told me to “just leave” and “I’m not talking about this with you.” I called U-Haul to get the problem fixed and they said everything was right on their end and that it should have been set aside for after hours pickup. This was our first night on our road trip across the Us. It took us 2 to 3 hours along our route west to find an available hotel for the night. When I called there was only one bed available so didn't take it but then decided just to go there because one bed was better than none. We had 3 of us, figured one of us could sleep on a mat or something. Our gps took us the wrong way so I called and said we were coming could the extra person sleep on the floor. He found us an extra mattress to use. There was a tractor pull somewhere filling up all the hotels and someone he had staying had got sick at the tractor pull and couldn't use their room.
