Pine Terrace Motel & Resort — Hotel in Town of Tupper Lake

Pine Terrace Motel and Resort are owned by a couple John and Aldona. They made sure that my employee and I were taken care of, our rooms were clean and that we enjoyed our stay. We stayed in 2 of their many cabins overlooking the lake. What I liked best about the place was they had a fridge, stove and dishes so I didn't have to run out looking for a bite. This also beats the costly overpriced booking with airbnb, which I also priced before staying at the Pine Terrace Motel.

The location of the hotel overlooks Tupper Lake. You can sit on their sprawling lawn to watch the sun come up or down. The view is very scenic and peaceful. There are countless hiking trails near by, boat launches, hunting grounds, fishing ponds, wildlife escapes and views all around. It's located 2 minutes from the main street of Tupper Lake and 25 minutes from saranac Lake, which is another place that gets costly to stay. I was able to park my boat and trailer on their grounds as well. They also rent boats for the day and have their own dock that I caught a few nice size bass from.

It wasnt my first visit to Tupper Lake. Pine Terrace is the place where I and my wife usually stay. We tried different places in the area but Pine Terrace has the most affordable prices. The clean cabins are conveniently located on the lake but still close to town and boat launch. Boats were also available for rent in the resort. We had a two-bedroom cabin and friends were visiting during our stay. TheTupper Lake is a magical place where you come and leave all your daily issues behind. You can sit on the deck of the cabin, look at the lake and breathe the pure air. We came for the fishing and werent disappointed. We had a wonderful time but it could be much different if not for the help from our host John. On the first day of our vacation, I had issues with my car. I called for help and it looked like I have to spend at least a thousand of $. Fortunately, our host, John was around and he offered his help. He quickly diagnosed the problem then he took me in his car to the store where we bought parts and fixed the problem. John didn`t accept the money I offered for his help so I owe him a big time.
