Lighthouse Cabins Maine — Hotel in Tremont

Photos seen during our search for a place to stay near Acadia were promising. The cabin exceeded expectations! We stayed in the Ship Harbor cabin for our 2 night stay. It was spotless and comfortable, having everything we needed. The kitchenette was well appointed, and had more than we needed for our stay. Don't miss walking to the office for your complimentary breakfast pastry. They were delicious! The bathroom was huge, much bigger and nicer than that of some hotels we've stayed. Aaron helped us plan our full day in Acadia - thank you! The cabin is located within a short walk down to the harbor (and local restaurant) or to the Bass Harbor lighthouse in the other direction. Deer surround the area. The cabins back up to woods of a tall evergreen forest. Stay in one of the cabins for a quiet, and yet convenient location to Acadia National Park. I would not hesitate to stay here if we find ourselves in...

We had a wonderful stay at the Lighthouse Cabins! The cabins were very clean and well-outfitted (they thought of every small detail, even including a razor, which was very useful after a few days of camping lol). The beds were very comfortable, and the shower had unlimited hot water. The breakfast includes pastries baked in-house every morning. Aaron was a great host and provided fun recommendations nearby and some delightful morning banter. As an additional note, they have some of the coolest cribbage boards we have ever seen in the common space in the garage (which also includes free laundry). Close walk to Lighthouse sunset and close to some delicious local pies at Crust Station and lobster at Archie’s! 10/10 recommend these cabins to anyone in need of lodging in...

We had great stay in the cabin. Aaron is very hospitable, and he freely shares his extensive knowledge of the island with you. The cabin is well-maintained and clean. Amenities provided make your stay very comfortable. Though you cannot cook in the cabin except using a microwave/convection oven/air fryer combo, you won't go hungry if you want to cook your own food. Gas grill is available, too.
