Old Greenwood by East West Hospitality — Hotel in Truckee

I had the pleasure of staying in a beautiful four-bedroom single family home in the Old Greenwood Resort. Tahoe Mountain Lodging does an incredible job providing a high level lodging experience. The house sat on the edge of Old Greenwood Golf Course, it was quiet and surrounded by nature. The kitchen provided all the necessities of home, allowing you to enjoy your time away from home without leaving any of the comfort behind. Each bedroom as complete with its own full bathroom, that was stocked with plush towels and toiletries. There was a comfortable family room and adjacent dining area. The house offered a strong wifi signal too. The clubhouse has the best set up for families. There were numerous pools accommodating both children and adults. There was also a playground and restaurant. ||I would recommend Old Greenwood to anyone looking for a great place to spend time with loved ones. We had a beautiful rustic home for the week. My son is in a wheel chair and they added a ramp in the garage for access for him. The LR, and all BR's had flat screen TV's with a wide range of available stations. A full sized pool table was upstairs, an office was also upstairs which contained a murphy bed if extra space was needed. The kitchen had good appliances, but had to buy a few extra cooking tools, and a hand mixer. A very nice hot tub was on back deck overlooking the golf coarse. The front porch had rocking chairs, very nice in the evening. The area was so quiet, and peaceful. They were doing pool renovations when we were there, but it is going to be beautiful. Everything there was very clean, and comfortable. Mantainance was wonderful, locked my safe, and was unable to open it. within 10 min. someone was there to fix it. Hope to stay 2...

We stayed a week in the two bedroom "cabins" which are duplex units near the clubhouse. This is an upscale resort with a great fitness center and pool. The kitchen was well enough equipped to comfortably cook many of our meals in, and we enjoyed being closer to Truckee, on a large level property where we could take leisurely walks, the forest is not as dense, and it is quieter and less crowded than on the shore of Tahoe, where we've stayed in the past. Service was very attentive: we reported a sticky substance on our balcony. Someone was there within an hour with a pressure washer, and daily to clean our outdoor gas barbecue every time we used it.||Certainly would consider staying here again...
