Location: Tucson, AZ. 6161 E. Benson Hwy||||Dates of Stay: 2020; nights of Feb 5 & 6. Had room with two double beds.||||Class of Hotel: Budget||||Summary: Solid but unremarkable room: clean; has all standard amenities; located right beside I-10, so have an easy drive into Tucson; yet reasonably quiet inside the room; comfortable beds; good hot water.||||(My basic #3 hotel room is: comfortable bed; fridge, microwave, & wi-fi; solid shower; good heating / cooling unit; 40”+ flat panel TV with more than 40 channels.)||||Would I stay there again? Yes||||Sleep Friendliness - || Room Darkness: Decent. Standard light blocking pull curtains.|| Bed Comfort: High. Slightly cushy but mostly firm. My wife really liked this combination. I was comfortable, but might find the top too squishy over time.|| Environment Noise: Good sound dampening. Could hear trucks power braking on I-10, but otherwise did not hear cars. ||||Clean: Yes.||||Customer Service: Good.||||Amenities: TV size: 40” flat panel. || TV service: Direct TV with channels 2 – 700. HBO Included. A lot of content was informercial or the same on multiple channels.|| Has: Microwave. Fridge. Coffeemaker. Hairdryer. Wi-fi.|| Furniture: One side table with chair and one upholstered.|| Luggage stand: one.|| Iron: no.|| Pool: yes. Too cold to swim.|| Hot tub: no.||||Amenities Missing: none for budget hotel.||||Breakfast: Basic continental breakfast. No hot food. Only two cereals. ||||Room Look and Feel: Basic. Inexpensive furnishings and fixtures. ||||Pluses: Adjustable shower head. Bowed outward shower curtain rod, so curtain does not get sucked in on you when you shower.||||Miscellaneous: The bathroom sink was in a cubby area separate from toilet and shower. It is a counter that runs the length of the cubby. In my experience, it is at a low height. The counter top was at mid thigh height for me, which I guess to be 2 ½ foot. All the Arizona hotels we stayed at had this same bath counter height, so you may find this to be the...

when I went to check in the man harassed me about how many people were going to stay in the room even though I answered him plainly that I was traveling solo and extremely tired... he repeated his line of questioning even asking how many beds and did I want a double or single bed even though I had already told him multiple times I was going to be alone... he claimed knowing the size of the bed would impact the price but it was the same price he quoted me on the phone without all the invasive questioning.
an elderly lady actually arrived slightly before me and she had missed a sign that said "no pets" and had the nerve to ask very simply and politely if they allowed pets...
the man refused to answer her and just pointed at the sign repeatedly while she stammered and looked very confused and tired.
I had to step in and explain to the woman that pets were not allowed as per the sign.
horrible customer service, uncomfortable beds, the worst flattest pillows ever, and stains on the towels... the soap also dried out my skin so badly that two days later it's still itching and breaking out because of my contact dermatitis ~
the shampoo was a joke... it wasn't even a little bottle, it was a tiny packet that wasn't large enough to wash my long hair, it smelled weird, and somehow left it feeling dry but heavy afterwards...
it was a secluded area tucked conveniently behind the I-10. rooms had in the wall AC units, microwave, hair dryer, hangers, TV, free Wi-Fi was available, water pressure was nice and water was decently hot.
Wi-Fi doesn't allow you to access discord at all which was annoying. I could watch all the videos/streaming stuff I wanted but could not connect to a...
