I cannot say enough positive things about PostOak, and the GM Trisha. I planned my Christmas-themed wedding from out of state and still had an easy experience finalizing and planning the big day. Trisha was so accommodating and helpful in the process of planning an out of state wedding. Trisha was someone who we bonded with immediately upon meeting, and we feel very lucky to have gotten to know her.

The PostOak staff was all very sweet and professional on the big day. Extra kudos to Chef Damien, who provided one of the best meals we’ve ever had! We had our initial dinner tasting with Damien and we’re extremely impressed with the amazing food he prepared. Our guests also raved about the dinner! Additionally, breakfast was provided to everyone staying at the lodge, complete with eggs, bacon, coffee, juice, oatmeal, and much more. This was very convenient for our guests and much appreciated.

The on-site lodges were one of the reasons we picked PostOak, since guests were coming from all over the country. The lodge provided a convenient and safe place to stay right on the property where the ceremony and reception was held. This made it very easy for guests to safely drink and not drive or wait for ride shares at the end of the night. The lodge also has a common room which gave our guests the opportunity to meet and mingle, not to mention play shuffle board, pool, and cards. Some guests even used the hot tub.

Another plus about PostOak is that they provide linens, tables, chairs, dinnerware, and bar services, which not all venues do. This made the list of vendors and to-do’s shorter than if we had to rent/book these items on our own. The bar selection was also very well received by our guests.

The space itself is absolutely gorgeous. There are several rooms to choose from for ceremonies, receptions, bridal rooms, etc. the Great Room and Dining Room feature huge stone fireplaces which provided a beautiful backdrop, especially for a Christmas wedding.

Overall, we cannot say thank you enough to the great staff at PostOak for helping in our big day and helping us achieve perfection! I can truly say our big day went flawlessly and perfectly, and that is due largely in part to the kindness and professionalism of Trisha and her team and PostOak.

Sincerely, Veronica...

I had an abysmal experience. I wanted to do the Holiday Treetop Adventure for some fun for me and my bf. Everything up to buying the tickets was fine until I had to call. I thought I was going to run late so I called 10+ minutes ahead of time asking the woman who spoke to me around 5:15pm to 5:20pm roughly.

She told me if i arrived at 5:29pm I'd be fine as they didnt leave until EXACTLY 530pm which reassured me as my gps told me 5:28pm I'd be there. I even expressed to her several times I was worried they'd leave without us but she reassured me we would make it. I proceeded to go with my boyfriend and we arrived right at 5:28pm but there was nothing in sight telling us where to go from there. Even after I had spoken to the woman on the phone, for POSTOAK LODGE, she did not tell me what I needed to do in addition to arriving. I managed my way to the parking area and wasn't sure what to do then. Me and my bf passed in front of a truck to park so I could call or figure out what we needed to do.

Three full minutes of confusion passes and i see the truck is pulling a trolley carrying a bunch of people. Goes right past me and my confused boyfriend without saying hi or motioning to us. They just drove by us with us outside the car as I stood outside my car perplexed. I realized they had driven past us and I did putt after in my car but they rushed to the locked area(which i assume was the zipline and obstacle course). They SAW me there as I was right behind them but moved quickly and out of there.

I attempted calling PostOaks front desk several times but nobody picked up which begs the question whose in the supposedly empty office when those people are at the course. I left a message and I have not heard back.

This ruined a night of romance and fun with my boyfriend, wasted 50 of my dollars and just ruined a night that could have been fun. I have since filed a dispute on my card and will never go back. Terrible customer service to not only lie to me but to avoid my calls as well. She didn't even let us know to get on the dang trolley....

The facilities at this place are lovely. The trails are beautiful, the hot tub was great. The lodge was clean. However, the experience was ruined by the disorganized staff. Each time I went to the front desk I had to wait several minutes for someone to help me because it was unattended. When I was finally noticed the employee was rude and unhelpful. My confirmation email said to check in at 1.pm. when I arrived after waiting several minutes for someone at the front desk I was abrasively told check in wasn't until 3 and that I was wrong even though I showed her my email. She didn't offer any apology for the miscommunication just stared at me until I left. When I returned later for check in I once again had to wait several minutes before I could get someone to help. The front desk attendant was out setting a bon fire for another group so that was understandable. He was much kinder and more helpful than the previous employee. He told us about the grounds and the accommodations. He told us that a hot breakfast was served in the morning from 8-10. We enjoyed our eveningand got up to go get breakfast and check out. When we went to the main building for breakfast the rude woman from the previous day was at the front she asked us in a rude tone where we were going. We said we were going to breakfast. She rolled her eyes as said they don't have hot breakfast and if the person who told us that last night "knew how to do his job" then he would have told us the only breakfast option was a grab and go breakfast. She walked away and came back with small breakfast boxes then once again instead of communicating with me she just stared at me until I said we would just be checking out to leave. ||I really wish the staff hadn't tainted our stay. The grounds are truly gorgeous and the deer wondering just outside our window was fun...

I went go play disc golf to see what the Jr worlds course was like. Or I tried to. When I got there I couldn't find hole one no signs, no tee signs, no numbers on the baskets, no paint on the baskets showing where the next tee pad is. So I go ask the lady at the lodge where hole one is. She has no clue. Then she says it's $10 to play. So she pulls out some QR code for the layout which didn't help it was very confusing. I had to purchase the UDisc app just to find hole one and my way around the course and it was still a big disappointment the course was overgrown and the tee pads were all turf. They were very slick even though it was hot and dry out. That being said the property was nice and it looks like it could be a nice course if they had concrete tee pads, numbers on baskets, tee signs, signs showing where holes are, paint on the baskets pointing to the next tee pad. Until then I won't be back.

We were originally in Tulsa (November 14-18) for an Arabian horse event at the Hyatt, when it decided to catch on fire and we were displaced. After being “re-homed” at the Lodge later in the evening, the staff was more than welcoming and accommodating to our situation and sudden predicament. What a happy accident.…The lodge is beautiful and the cabins were wonderful. The breakfast on Saturday morning was incredibly vast, and more than fulfilling. We woke up in the morning to deer in front of our cabin. I would love to go back and visit PostOak under different circumstances and be able to enjoy more of their amenities. Perhaps in October ‘19, during US Nationals...

I gave two stars because the main lodge where you check in was beautiful. However, in the lodge I stayed in there were 2 scorpions in my room. Then at 4 am in the room next to mine I got woke up to somebody screaming about getting stung by a scorpion. Not a good experience.
