I stayed here for a night while following the Oregon Trail. Our host, Jennifer, was both an excellent cook and a wonderful conversationalist. She also knows the area well, and made a few suggestions that improved our trip significantly. The bedroom suite has two gorgeously-appointed bedrooms, very comfortable beds, and an incredible view of the gorge. There are hummingbirds who visit in the evenings, and a few turkey vultures who perch on the rocks in the mornings. Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay more nights. If I ever find myself in Twin Falls again, the Roeland Home will be the first lodging I consider. Oh! And if you visit, don't forget to bring a fridge magnet from your home city. Jennifer's refrigerator is covered with magnets from all over the world, and is an impressive collection.

The Bed and Breakfat location was truly spectacular. The upstairs area is cozy and has a stunning view of the river. Jennifer was lovely and cooked lovely food. At times it was difficult to enjoy the views and the atmosphere down in the livingroom or out on the deck. Jennifer is a very social host which at times interrupted my husband and I from enjoying the views and the space. Throughout the booking process and then on arrival the same questions about menu, time of departure and questions about breakfast were asked multiple times which was at times a bit frustrating. It is a lovely place to stay but I would say that professional boundaries of host and guest are not very defined in this bed and breakfast

My family and I absolutely loved staying at The Roeland Home! The view is phenomenal, Jennifer mentioned that it is so beautiful when it is snow covered! We may have to book a night in the winter to see this! She entertained my kiddos and made us a yummy pasta dinner which is my daughter's favorite! I honestly didn't know what to expect as we have never stayed at a bed and breakfast before but Jennifer is a lovely host we had a dance party in the living room and honestly can not wait until we get to go back! Thanks again Jen!

We were returning from California, and usually stay in a hotel, but since it was my birthday, we decided to try The Roeland Home. Everything exceeded our expectations.

The house was decorated inside with all sorts of acknowledgements of my birthday. The host cooked us dinner and put birthday candles on the dessert. She shared information about local activities and products. The bed was super comfortable, and the provided robes were a nice touch. Breakfast the next morning was great, featuring Idaho made products.

The view was spectacular! The Snake River gorge is laid out before you, tall cliffs down to the water. Raptors soared above us for our entertainment. At a certain time in the morning and evening, if the water in the river is still, there is a perfect mirror image of the cliffs.

The room, food, and views were all fantastic. Jennifer was an amazing host, providing us with privacy unless we needed something. We feel lucky to have found this place. I think that we have found a great alternative to a night in a hotel, one that left us refreshed and recharged. Thank you, Jennifer, for making my...

Beautiful place, beautiful views, hostess intrusive. The place is gorgeous. The hostess is so fortunate to have this home because where it sits is amazing. The room itself is really nice. Separate seating area, two nice bedrooms with great bedding and the bathroom is perfect. It was all too good to be true but...the hostess was too much. She was intrusive even when our room door was closed. Talking to us, repeating stuff said minutes before, asking lots of questions, wanting so badly for us to talk with her whenever we were in the living room area. It was the needfulness we are not used to. She told us stuff we shouldn't know, personal things we didn't want to know. |It made the wonderful space so uncomfortable for us. There's a reason she's like this I won't go into, on here but if you're looking for a quiet place to enjoy your vacation time, just you and your partner...not sure this is it. |She did give us back $50 because we didn't eat there as much as she wanted; dinner, breakfast, happy hour,...

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay. As someone who travels extensively across the U.S. for work, I prefer staying at Bed and Breakfasts over hotels whenever possible. Typically, I find myself in charming old Victorian houses, but I had not yet experienced a B&B in Idaho and was unsure of what to expect.

The view was absolutely stunning—something I don't often get to enjoy. I stayed for four nights, and it was incredibly relaxing. Some evenings, I worked from the deck while enjoying a freshly made pizza from the oven, and other times, I simply relaxed in my suite. Jenn, the host, is both a terrific cook and a wonderful host. The rooms are spacious, and the bed is so comfortable that it’s easy to sleep in. You definitely don't want to miss the French Toast and fresh-cut fruit for breakfast.

I look forward to returning soon, especially to experience the...
