Checked in, showered, and went out to dinner. Came back to find the elevators overheating and unsafe to use. My spouse is a disabled Vet and we are on vacation with our dog, in a handicap room on the FOURTH FLOOR. Travel is difficult when he is in pain. He cant climb extra stairs. He has chronic nerve pain. We had to climb the stairs to our 4th floor handicap room twice . I just paid nearly $200 to be 100 % inconvenienced. Yes, they will comp the room, but we are tired and hot and cranky from all of this nonsense. They moved us, that required us to pack up everything again, so we could move to a room that was 85 degrees and sit and sweat, till their inadequate wall air conditioner cooled it down 2 hours later. I had my choice of hotels, and I would have had a pleasant experience in ANY one of them. I chose this one for the convenience of the hotel, casino, and restaurant all together, so we gave it a shot. The "restaurant" is not what the website advertises, so we had to backtrack to Ukiah to find dinner that wouldn't give us indigestion. We tried the casino, and walked out $40 bucks poorer, 20mins later (playing Pennies). Slots are so tight it wasn't even fun at all, and if they have cocktail waitresses, they were hiding. Cant use the hot tub or pool because we are still on the 2nd floor and don't have it in us to climb more stairs tonight. One night of our vacation is fully ruined because they didn't install adequate elevators when they built it. Thats what engineers are for! Im exhausted, and now I have to take the dog out before bed. My spouse is sleeping in his own queen bed and im on the other because its still too hot. In my book, they OWE me more than a comped room. I'm pretty sure this is not the first time the elevators have overheated, yet they kept booking those rooms. I don't usually give a bad review if it is resolved quickly. While they tried, it was inadequate, just like their AC. Sad we lost a day of vacation...
Read moreI showed up at 3 which is check in time. They said my room is "still dirty". (Probably should've said "Not Ready". But that's not big deal). I told them I had to be at a wedding by 5 in Hopland . So they said they would give me a different room . GREAT!! So happy. When I walked in the room the beds look amazing . They were made beautifully. I'm an air bnb maid so I appreciate a clean bed. However , when I went to get in the shower , completely different story . Disgusting. Hasn't been scrubbed in at least 3 days. I didn't have time to tell the front desk. So I wore my filpflops in the shower after I wiped it out as fast as possible. Determined not to let it get to me I finished getting ready and left . Being that I drove 5 hours for this wedding i am exhausted and ready to wash my face and go to bed. I put my purse next to the sink, brush my teeth and noticed my purse is so covered in men's facial shavings that I almost threw up. I am now throwing away my purse . Would rather keep my stuff in a plastic bag. K fine. I tell myself what ever . I am too tired to care now. Especially since my husband is asleep all ready and there's nothing we can do about it now anyhow. I decided a drink would be great. Go to the store buy a couple premixed drinks . Come back, grab ice bucket. And guess what ! The flipping bucket is dirty too! Not only that but the refrigerator wasn't working . So I pulled out the refrigerator and it wasn't even plugged it. Just like I figured. Anyways , I don't recommend this place at all. The 2 good things about this place. Was a nice receptionist and well made bed. Other than that . ...
Read moreLet’s start with the “pluses”. The staff was friendly, they had a good working washer and dryer, the fitness equipment was practically new. They have a hot tub, the breakfast was okay, the hours of breakfast were odd at 6 am to 8 am. I stayed there for an extended period of time (3 months) since I was traveling for work. First problem You have to ask to have your room cleaned every time. All of the housekeeping staff leaves at 5 pm so if you need service after 5 pm you are out of luck. I would ask to have the room cleaned on my way to work and then only to come back to the room and it is not clean. So I asked to have my room cleaned 3 times a week and they managed to clean it twice without me asking. I have included a picture of a towel from the room that I used to clean the Floor. The second problem is that if you need to move rooms ( I did this several times because the room needed cleaning) that you needed to pack all of your stuff and then bring them downstairs so that you can get another key for a new clean room. So because I am staying for an extended period of time I have a lot of stuff and it would literally take me approximately 2 hours to move everything each time. I contacted the management and they confirmed that they have a problem with the housekeeping however they did not compensate me for the inconvenience in anyway whatsoever other than...
