Arrived Late June 2025 Well, where should I start. From the minute you pull up to this gem of a property you have the feeling its going to be special. Walking up to the inn gives you a feeling of English countryside. The property is absolutely beautiful landscaped. We were met by Inga who is the proud owner and is very accessible as she is a big part of running day to day operations and thoroughly enjoying the opportunity. No absent-tee owner here. Our reservation included two tickets to the Bucks County Playhouse which we picked the 1:30pm show on Sunday. We arrived with minimal time to get to the show. Inga said leave your bags, We'll get them to your room and here are your tickets. Making the 1:30 show just in time, seats were great as well as the show. Once back, we met Inga again and she gave us the tour of the room and sitting area. Our room was in the carriage house which also hosts three rooms on the second floor. Ours was the Orchard Retreat as the deck overlooks the property orchard trees. The room was beautiful and well appointed. The common sitting area outside our room was also very comforting. This is where each room has a mini fridge with waters and string cheese hidden in a piece perfectly made for the three fridges. Sitting atop are three serving trays, one for each room, holding your beautiful cups, mugs and added chocolate treats. Drawers above held our coffee and tea selections. After the play and dinner at Stella's we headed back to the inn. for a restful night sleep. It was a very quiet and peaceful evening to be awakened in the morning by roosters crowing situated far back in the property. A nice touch. Next morning we headed down for breakfast and Inga sat us to our table. As we are curious about the property, we asked and Inga was not shy to fill us in in between cooking breakfast along with the help of her loyal and happy staff. The English Breakfast was perfect starting with a very fresh fruit cup followed scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage beans and rye toast. The home made "right in the kitchen" croissants were tops. After breakfast we changed into our suits and went for a relaxing swim. The pool and thick padded lounges were very comfortable. After our swim, we lounged and relaxed a bit more while music played in the background as the scenery around the pools is beautiful. By afternoon we headed out o experience the beauty of the surrounding area which we have been visiting for over twenty five years and returned back after dinner to repeat the process again. To finish we really appreciated the close and warm feeling Inga and her staff provide. We were very happy to choose this property as our anniversary stay and will be back again to enjoy their wonderful...
Read moreMagic exists and its name is The Inn at Bowman’s Hill.
Words can’t even begin to express the amazing experience we have had at the Inn at Bowman’s Hill for our Wedding. After a sleepless night of searching, we found The Inn on an internet search. We are from out of state, and due to timing and a family constraint, we only had 1 evening to look at The Inn. We called the Inn in the morning, and Louisa agreed to let us stop by later that evening for a tour. We arrived in the evening, and even in the dark this place sparkles like magic. Mike was gracious enough to show us the beautiful house. We decided at that moment that this was the best and only place for us. From then on, stressful wedding planning became an amazing experience.
The Inn recommended vendors, helped with the planning, offered amazing places to visit, and recommended an amazing dinner venue. They cared and listened to every request and moved mountains to make our family comfortable. They made our big day more special than I could have ever imagined. I could not have done it without the help and support of Mike, Louisa, and Anastasio. They are truly thoughtful, caring and musically talented people.
We did a brunch the next day and it was like taking a step back in time to enjoy family, amazing food, and an amazing setting. I have to say, it was the best wedding our whole family had ever been to. It was like our own private home and one of those family moments you live your whole life for. They always made sure we were happy and everything was just perfect. Everyone enjoyed their rooms and the views. Our room was specially decorated with small classy touches for our wedding night. Anastasio makes an awesome breakfast, showed us the animal babies, and made the grounds even more beautiful in preparation for the big day. I don’t know what else we could have asked for.
We are coming up on our 1 Year, and looking forward to a return visit. This review is long overdue. I wish that time stood still the day of our wedding, and they will always hold a special place in our hearts. We are happy to call...
Read moreA truly relaxing and romantic getaway!
My husband and I were looking for a getaway in a quiet and romantic place not far from home. We were thrilled to find The Inn at Bowman’s Hill in New Hope. Although it’s not far from our home, it felt a world away in a beautifully landscaped and meticulously maintained property. If we ever moved, I would still travel hours for a relaxing getaway here!
Upon our arrival, the owner, Mike Amery walked out to meet us and help us with our bags. He was very friendly and immediately made us feel comfortable and welcome at the Inn. He gave us a tour of the gorgeous property and showed us to our room. Mike also made a dinner reservation for us at Francisco’s on the River which was fantastic! Great recommendation!
We stayed in the Orchard Retreat, which was decorated in a modern and luxurious country style. Very tasteful and serene feeling without being “over the top country” like many of the other old-style B&B’s in the area.
My husband purchased the chocolate covered strawberries (so delicious!), which were waiting for us in the room along with a bottle of champagne. The owner, realizing I was pregnant and couldn’t enjoy the champagne, gave us a complementary bottle of sparkling apple cider as well. There were also cheese and crackers waiting for us in our refrigerator, as well as some other snacks in the room.
The bed was very comfortable! We felt so rested and refreshed when we woke up. The bathroom was clean and beautiful. Towel warmers were awesome!
In the morning we had breakfast downstairs at the Inn. The food was incredibly fresh and everyone was so friendly. It was just a really pleasant experience! After breakfast we walked the property and let the chickens and ducks out of their coup. The chickens are free-range so it was fun to see them wandering around the property during the day.
Free and fast wifi was a plus too! Highly recommended for a romantic getaway! We will...
