RUN!!!
So we got to the Lady Luck hotel and first thing I noticed was it did not look like what the pictures portrayed AT ALL. It looks like any ratty highway side motel with a casino next/ attached to it. Then I noticed the pool was closed. I asked if we could cancel our room cause that is the only reason I booked it. We have a 15 month old and after traveling all day I wanted to let her wear herself out in the pool. IT WAS THE ONLY REASON I BOOKED IT! Because the pictures made it look magical... nope, under construction.. no refund.. she said the web site states it's under construction, NOPE, double checked.
Next we walked into our room and it REEKED of dog urine.. went back to the front desk and she came down and made a face of disgust when she came in to smell it. She gave us keys to another room and walked in before me with a bottle of spray, obviously to spray it before we even walked in. When she approaches the room I heard her say "front desk" and that's cause the TV was on. We were in this room only a couple of minutes before noticing BOTH beds had glitter on them, one had pubes all over it and the other had blood on it and I can tell you for certain it had not been washed since that blood was put there. So they brought us new bedding then told me they had no comforters to replace that one with and I asked "and if there's glitter and hair on the comforter, then what?" Because they place a sheet on top of the comforter so I guess to them it was okay. Then the (I'm assuming) maid was changing the sheets and told the front desk lady to go find her a king size comforter cause HELLO it was everywhere.
So so gross.
I can't say for sure that they rented a room out for an hour (and I did ask) but I can guess that someone had a way early check out and they perhaps glanced in there to notice the beds were still made(ish)
Also, I'd like to add that we have a dog, it says on their website they accept pets for a $20 charge. When we got here it was $23 after tax, $50 deposit (I'm not sure why since they don't clean up after the pets obviously) and I got the room at a "special rate" of $114 after tax it came out to $140 (no idea why there's that much tax) + $23 pet fee + $50 deposit. When I got here and was double checking to see if the website stated the pool was under construction I noticed the room rates are $70 cheaper, I'm assuming cause they didn't sell out for the night but even still I wouldn't pay that rate. I do plan on complaining to a manager and getting an itemized receipt tomorrow and see what they'll do for me so I'll update then. Also, I will be taking this as high up as I possible can because this place honestly just needs to be shut down.
The morning after when I was checking out of this horrible place the lady at front desk noticed the charges looked weird, she called the manager over and they talked amongst themselves. I asked what it was they saw and they refused to answer me.

Read moreThis casino has several rules that I've never seen implemented at any other casino. The staff all insisted that it would be the same anywhere else, but I've been to casinos in at least five different states and never encountered these rules before. First, we weren't allowed to take our kids to the buffet restaraunt. I realize that kids can't be on a casino floor but at every other casino that I've ever been to, security will escort you to the restaraunt. That's why casino buffets have highchairs - because kids are, in fact, allowed to eat there. Second, because my kids weren't allowed to eat at the buffet, we had to order from the bar & grill. So my husband brought our food back to the room... but no drinks... because this casino has a rule that you can't take drinks off of the casino floor. Seriously? I can't tell you how many pina coladas I've had in a casino hotel room... but my husband can't bring a few cups of sweet tea back to our room with our containers of takeout food? (By the way, in case you're wondering... The food was terrible.) Third, after getting my kids to sleep, my husband stayed in the room while I went to play slots for a bit. My husband and I play slots very casually. As in, we usually spend about $20 each. The whole point being to have a little fun, while drinking free alcohol. :-) But at THIS casino, you can only have one alcoholic beverage every 20 minutes. When I first found a waitress (finally), I ordered a Manhattan. She asked me what it was (first time that's ever happened to me, as well) and I told her. She said, "we don't have everything to make that." Ummm, ok.... So I told her, never mind, just bring me something sweet. She brings me a sex on the beach in a teeny tiny plastic cup. I see her about ten minutes later and ask for another one. She tells me I have to wait twenty minutes. Imagine the look on my face! Like what are you talking about? But I assumed she meant only one FREE drink every 20 minutes so I went to the bar to BUY myself a drink with MY money but nope, the same waitress tells the bartender I have to wait twenty minutes. Seriously?! If that's really a rule, I have NEVER seen it implemented at any other casino. Also, how is she keeping track? "Frazzled, tired-looking lady with ponytail and black sweater had a drink at 8:07pm"? I had been on the road all day with my husband and kids. All I wanted was to relax for a bit, play some slots, have 2 or 3 drinks. Instead, I didn't even finish using my free play because I was so irritated that I couldn't have a drink. This casino sucks. Oh, and their pool was "closed for renovations". Wallpaper was peelling off of the hallway walls. Generally, this place is old and rundown. Save your time and money and go...
Read moreMy stay was ok! I went to the O&H restaurant. I ask for orange juice and I couldn't get that ok. Can I have a bottle of water you will have to pay . I told the waitress I couldn't drink the fountain drinks because of the water. I can not drink this hard water due to my illness. The get her food first the my husband and I. When send the food back at this point. We didn't want it, because if the supervisor attitude was that bad I didn't no want was done to our fod. Another lady came she works at the hotel but happen to be working at O&H Restaurant. Pleasant attitude! She wanted to no why I didn't want the food I explained the supervisor attitude. She expressed how sorry she was that happen. She would give us a upgrade or our next stay. The host said she would give us fan play but never seen her afterwards. (disappeared) . My husband and I left out I went to the rest room same supervisor but now on the O&H express side talking to workers and in front of customers about what happen on the restaurant side. At this point they looking at my husband. When I walk out the rest room the supervisor putting on a show in front of customers. Be careful who speak in front of no clue you can be recorded. Lastly, LADY LUCK you need to send your supervisor that was working on 2/22/2020 to training or get rid of her before you lose all of your business.
