I have stayed at several places in the Teton Valley. My new favorite is The Teton Valley Resort in Victor Idaho. You will have your choice of several different options. I did not try their 'Dry Cabins' or the Indian Teepees. Both of these options, though very nice were not for me as they have no running water. You need to walk to the bath house/laundry building for bathroom breaks and to shower. The Teepees you should also bring your own bedding, blankets, pillows, etc. However, being the great Resort that it is, they will provide what they can if you forget. Now the Cabins they have are outstanding! I stayed in two different options. First they are private cabins, no joining walls with any other guests- awesome! The first one I stayed in had a loft area with two twin sized beds. An adult cannot stand up straight in the loft and needs to walk bent over- but perfect for kids, and still cool for adults, there was also the bedtoom on the main floor. The other cabin I stayed in was even better! It was all on one level and featured a gas fireplace! The bathroom in this cabin was bigger, the one bedroom was also bigger but also featured a fold out couch. Both cabin come fully equipped with full size dishwasher, fridge and combination microwave/baking oven. The single level cabin also had a full size electric stove/oven, while the loft cabin had a small stove top. I would be very comfortable living in either one of those Cabins! Check out the pictures! The place is awesome! There is individual parking for each cabin. The resort has a restaurant on premises next to the pool, while I was there they also rented bikes from the office and had weekly music nights featuring live music! The one thing I did not like was that they do not come in and clean the rooms during your stay and you need to go to the office to ask for more towels. But that is probably because most people do not stay as long as I was staying there. I stayed for weeks at a time while working in the area. Awesome awesome place. I so much want to go back there! I can't say enough about how great the Resort is! The first 5 pictures are the loft cabin. The rest for the...
Read moreThis is the spot to stay for Tetons NP! My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved the resort. We picked a dry cabin and it was perfect for our early summer trip. Though you don't get a private bathroom in the cabin it's a great way to save money if you need barebones accommodations that are more comfortable than camping. That being said, there are private bathroom stalls with showers even just a short walk from the cabins. They also have dorm style bathrooms and showers if the 4 private ones are full. Rooms come with heaters and fans and bedding is comfortable. Even have a big fridge with freezer and microwave. Easy check in and check out process that can be done via text. Women's bathroom has free period products. Breakfast is very basic with muffins, bagels, and yogurt but nice to have. They provide towels which is nice too. Close to the road but noise never bothered us and not a super busy road anyways. Quick drive to Jackson and the tetons but be wary if you have bad weather in the forecast as your drive over a mountain pass to get to those areas. Yellowstone is doable from the property but is a longer 2 hour drive.
Only one complaint that might be unique to us staying shortly after the pool/hit tub opened but the hot tub is WAY TOO HOT. We were there with several other guests and we were all just sitting around the edge because the water was almost scalding hot. We were able to get in eventually a pinky at a time but not exactly enjoyable.
Overall wonderful stay and absolutely recommend...
Read moreI just returned from my first visit to Teton Valley Resort in Victor, ID and it certainly will not be my last. My family stayed in one of the spacious and beautiful studio cabins for 3 nights. The cabins are furnished very nicely and the full bathroom was luxurious and clean. The queen bed and bunk beds were very comfortable, the whole family had a great night sleep every night. The kids had a great time in the pool and we could not pull them away from the massive inflatable slide on the property. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and worked tirelessly to make sure that everything was comfortable for us during our stay. Several staff organized a kid's camp full of activities to entertain young ones for several hours; they really went above and beyond. The public restrooms for the RVs and tent campers were the cleanest I have ever, ever seen. The proximity to Jackson WY, Teton National Park, and Yellowstone National Park makes Teton Valley Resort a very convenient place to stay and see everything you've planned. Teton Valley Resort has done an incredible job creating a very fun, comfortable place for travelers to stay and enjoy the breathtaking views in Idaho/Wyoming.
