Wonderful Stay at Wachapreague Inn

We had an absolutely fantastic time during our recent visit to Wachapreague, and our stay at the Wachapreague Inn truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality from the staff.

The staff at the Wachapreague Inn were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. One particular instance stood out to us when we accidentally locked ourselves out of our room. Even after finishing their shift, a dedicated employee returned to the Inn to provide us with another key, ensuring that we could access our room without any inconvenience. This level of attentiveness and dedication to customer service was truly remarkable and greatly appreciated.

Moreover, we were thoroughly impressed by the kind and welcoming nature of the residents of Wachapreague. Their friendliness and willingness to assist us with recommendations and local insights made our experience even more enjoyable.

Additionally, we were delighted to discover a great restaurant within walking distance of the Wachapreague Inn. The convenience of having such a fantastic dining option nearby added to the overall convenience and enjoyment of our stay.

In summary, our time at the Wachapreague Inn was nothing short of wonderful. From the friendly and helpful staff to the charming community of Wachapreague, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We put this on TripAdvisor as well but wanted to write a review here too. We were definitely pleasantly surprised by this little spot. When we checked in, there was an amazing gift shop with unique local hand crafted items along with personal items if needed as well as drinks and snacks. Very friendly at check in. We were here for a conference at VIMS which was close enough to walk to as well as a restaurant across the street which accomodated vegan options for us. Breakfast was included in the stay at the check-in and was at 8am. They had oatmeal and hot water so we had something as a vegan option. Room was spacious, modern, had streaming options as well as cable TV, and had a refrigerator and freezer along with a microwave which was very helpful. Extra blanket provided if needed and a wall unit heater with thermostat. The one complaint - the beds were TOOOO Soft where you're falling into them... uncomfortably soft the we didn't get great nights sleep. Otherwise, the place exceeded our expectations.
