The Dream Inn — Hotel in Wadesboro

I stayed at The Dream Inn while in Wadesboro for work, and it was exceptional! Melanie and Julian were fantastic hosts, who wanted to make sure I was comfortable and that every need was met. They are simply wonderful folks. Besides being a gorgeous house, rich in history and beautifully decorated, the room was spotless. I am a stickler when it comes to a clean room when traveling, and every single thing was perfect. My room was furnished with exquisite furniture, and you truly felt the warmth of home with modern features such as excellent WiFi and a modern en-suite bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable with super soft and pure white sheets. As a woman traveling on her own, I always look for places to stay where I feel safe and comfortable, and I definitely had that at The Dream Inn. The inn is located super close to downtown Wadesboro, and Melanie and Julian are more than happy to offer suggestions for whatever you need. When I checked out the next morning, Melanie and Julian, knowing that I had a long workday ahead of me, offered me take-along snacks to help me get through my day. :) That was a very nice touch. Booked two rooms and stayed one night with a lifelong friend to celebrate her birthday. We had traveled over two hours to see the Horticultural Gardens at Sandhills Community College ( a must-see) in Southern Pines, NC. After having lunch, visiting the gardens and a little shopping, it was nice not to have to drive back home late that afternoon. Melanie and Julian are the owners/innkeepers, and are so kind and gracious. They are only the fourth owners of this gorgeous 1910 home and it is pristine. Melanie prepared a delicious breakfast of individual cheese souffles, link sausages and sliced tomatoes. The highlight to me was her homemade biscuits and homemade strawberry jam, however!
