The first thing we noticed when we showed up was a bullet hole in the window. Inside the rooms look older than dinosaurs. They are very little. The owner knew that we were bringing pets and it wasn’t a problem until we wanted to leave, he wanted someone with the animals in the room at all times even if they were in the kennels so they can’t mess anything up. The last night we were there it was about 10 pm and we were cooking burgers and the owner sat next to our cabin with a bucket of water saying he needs to go home and he’s not leaving until the grill fire was out. My mom finally got tired of him talking about the grill fire that she took the uncooked burgers inside and finished them in the microwave. We ended up locked inside the trashy room with uncooked burgers all weekend when we were suppose to be having fun...

Adorable place with super friendly owner/operators!! They are very proud of their place and are working on updates!! They were very clear that if we needed anything, just ask!! Very responsive to requests via text and super chill about letting us have our dogs off leash. The air conditioner did a more than fair job keeping up on the hottest day of the year! Just FYI, cabins are small and I doubt any of them are wheelchair accessible. Mini fridges in the rooms and kitchenettes. Great water pressure in the shower. Pool area was well supplied with areas of shade, chairs, and pool noodles! Basketball, cornhole, horseshoes, and swings available for entertainment. Secluded pond with a dock. Ice and soda machine on site. Great affordable weekend getaway!! We will...

We happened upon Indian Lodge and it ended up being so much better than expected! The rooms are in the process of being updated and we had one updated room and one mostly original; both were clean and comfortable. The pool was small but open (many places seem to be doing away with their pools so this was excellent!) and there is an open area with a playground, grassy area, fire pit, and bbq's- the perfect place for kids to burn off all that pent up road-trip energy. Overall, we're so happy with our short stay and would highly recommend Indian Lodge to any and all families traveling this way. It certainly beats the local...
