Island View Resort — Hotel in Wahkon

So a friend of ours rented a cabin here in Millacs for a weekend over 4th of July, we had came to visit for the day to get the kids together for swimming and play. We had rented the cabin in the middle of 2 others not knowing that the other cabins were occupied by the owners and family, we had people walking through the yard right in our space, the owners and a bunch of their family were sitting both sides of us watching what was going on in their lawn chairs they were playing in our camping space, knocked into some of our water blow up toys, were rude, we walked to the beach and they were still by our space pointing and glaring at us we had never been there and we were not causing any issues, we found out later that the owners didn't want us there to visit and was making sure we weren't staying it was way outrageous I would not recommend staying there especially since even the trailers behind and all around are close friends and family of the owners was an uncomfortable...

Rented Cabin #4, a two bedroom, as backup during a family reunion. We had a blast! The location cannot be beat. It's across a very quiet street from the bay, docks, fishing, and the kids swam right there. There's also a playground on the block in the city park for the kiddos. Cabin fully outfitted including sleep number beds, cable tv and wi-fi! The only thing we had to bring were towels, beer and groceries. Tim, the owner (I think) was amazing. Right there to answer any questions and as friendly as can be. I can't recommend this little resort highly enough. In addition to the cabins, they also rent pontoons and fishing...

Working with Tim was awesome. I don't think there could have been a bad experience with this guy. I didn't stay at the site, but I think I will next time. I rented a pontoon on a random visit to mille lacs with my son. And he shared his experience and knowledge of the area to me just to point some small things out. This will prove very beneficial as the area is somewhat shallow and best to avoid taking the lower unit out. We caught lots of walleyes and my son caught his first walleye and it was within slot. And we didn't have to leave too far out to get...
