Morning Star Market — Local services in Wahkon

Very poor customer service. We stopped in to get gas and some ice cream. While waiting in line, the older lady behind the counter told us we needed to pay first, but if we told her our order she would get it ready for us. As I am telling her our simple order, she barks at us that we again need to pay first, and then very rudely comments to my friend “You look like you get excited for ice cream” in a nasty tone ????? So then we go to pay and it is very busy, but instead of helping out the line of people the workers are all giggling and gossiping to one another behind the counter. Very poor customer service, but I suppose when options are limited on where you can shop up here the workers feel like the have the privilege to be rude knowing they don’t have...

This place has SEVERELY gone down hill. My husband went in there this morning and came back to the car and the smell of nasty fast food & grease overwhelmed our car. My husband said it was so bad in the store he almost passed out. If the owners cared they would take care of the store & keep it clean and not a run down dump. No store should EVER smell so bad it follows someone to their car & stick to someone like that. Either start caring or sell it to someone who will care & provide the community with...

Went in to purchase a quick lottery ticket today.. Fire hydrant shaped lady with a Century 21 T shirt felt that gossipping with someone at the other counter was more important than waiting on me. Funny thing is, this isn't the first time she's done this.
