Stayed at the campground . Very nice and clean place. Bathrooms were always clean and the pool was crystal clear. We had a nice time. The lake was cool as long as you don't mind kicking fish when you walk lol. I kicked so many fish it was crazy. Weird feeling when you can't see the bottom lol. That's part of swimming in a like though I guess. The fishing was pretty good to. We caught a few nice size fish. Only thing is it's not like your regular campground. Its more catered to being a swim club. There is no camp store, no crafts or ceramics in the morning. No wagon ride, no golf carts, not really an activitie schedule. Lol oh yes I forgot no alcohol. Alcohol is not allowed. That's good and bad I guess. Most camping involves a couple of cold of cold ones while sitting around the fire. I think you should be allowed it at your site and just not at the pool or lake. Anyway its their rules. Nice place though. The lake and the pool kept the kids busy so I guess it made up for the lack of activities. It would be nice to have a camp store and activities because that would make this place 5 stars . I would go back again. Not that bad with price. It's cheaper then hospitality creek and has alot of the same lake obstacles. I would reccomend you try it and see for yourself. Thanks for reading and remember, camp on campers....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe've been members of Lake Kandle for 3 summers now. As a family of 3, they initially offered a great package of about $780 for the season. They no longer offer this deal - so every family of 3 and more all pay $999. This seems a bit unfair that a family of 3 and a family of 6 pay the same memberships dues. The place has a beautiful lake and two amazing pools. However, it seems over crowded making parking limited and finding a place to sit without feeling like you can reach out and touch someone almost impossible. The lifeguards, who are young, do not pay attention to the what is happening in the pools or lake or hold people accountable for the so called "rules". People also use the pools as a means to "rinse off" the sand from the lake....shoes included. š³ If there are going to be that many memberships given, I think more eyes need to be on each of the pool locations and the lake to ensure that people aren't actually taking advantage of things, and that good summaritans are actually able to enjoy what they...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is the most beautiful campground I have ever been to. I believe it has been family owned for at least 2 generations and you can really tell they care about their guests and the land. The sites are all beautiful and there is a nice amount amount of room between sites. The bathroom/showers were immaculate and the owners are wonderful!! The pools (3) were closed of course due to off season but in season it looks like it would be a really fun place in the summer for kids. Their online photos are what you will see onsite. The added benefit is Duffields Farm Market with hay-wagon rides (come right by the campground road) and animals on site (schools visit).|It is maybe a half mile walk or drive right down the road. We went to the area to visit with my daughter in Cherry Hill. A bit of a drive every day but we wanted to stay quarantined as much as possible. If we camp again I know where we...
