What a great way to spend the weekend! 3-5" of ice didn't stop my dad and I from going out and trying some some lakes in the area. unfortunately we were not very successful fishing but the accommodations were great! warm garage for all the hunting and fishing gear. We had a great stay this last weekend pheasant hunting. The only bad thing was the other group staying there too. They had way too many dogs that did their business everywhere without consideration of the other guests. We stepped in it too many times.. We didn't stay at the Lodge but we did do a morning waterfowl hunt with Andy. It was a great experience. He is a fun guy who puts the youth first. We had a couple of younger hunters with and Andy made sure that they got the best experience possible. He was a big stickler for safety!
