First time eating here, we drove 50 minutes. We got our side salads right away, but our food took forever. We finally figured out there was a reunion in the back room. We were there a total of an hour and a half. Took almost an hour to get our food. Waitress never said a word about why things are taking so long. My son ordered pizza, said it was good. My fiance' ordered the tortellini, said it was good. I ordered the chicken marsala. The chicken was amazing. The brussel sprouts were so burnt, I could barely taste them. I asked the waitress if they're always like that, so I know not to order them again. She agreed they look dark, and would have them made again, as the kitchen had been slammed. She came back out saying the cook has to cook them that dark as they're roasted frozen. She did offer a different side, but we wanted to get going as we'd been there so long already. I just peeled the burnt outsides off, but it still wasn't good. She did give me a discount on my meal. Not sure we will go back, between the experience and prices, plus how far we drove to try it out. Edited to add: The business owner reached out after my review. They thanked me for my honest review, and did offer an explanation. The owners left for the first time since they opened, on a weekend that was supposed to be fairly quiet in the area, and I did mention that the server never took the brussel sprouts back to the kitchen for the cook to see, so they likely didn't realize how overcooked they were. As a person who has cooked at a restaurant myself, I understand sometimes things go out that the cook didn't realize looked as bad as it did. So we will try this place again. Everybody makes mistakes, and we can all learn and grow, and we can all have an off day. The best part is the owner genuinely was disappointed in what experience we had, and promised to look into how the brussel sprouts are prepared. And THAT is a sign of an amazing business owner. ❤️ I look forward to going back.

Who would think that a major city level Restaraunt / Taphouse would be in a town with under 2000 people. Dale the owner and bartender made excellent recommendations. I loved it the first night and returned the second night I was in town. The menu offers American hand held foods (Burgers, nachos, sandwiches). The pizzas looked axing although I did not have one. I devoured the delicious and comforting tortellini dish. It was as good as any I have had in any restaurant. The following I had night the beef tips over a bowl of rice and mixed salad. Delicious and a complete meal. The only regret I had was that they did not have an in house bakery chef, and the options offered were not to the level of the food served. Nonetheless I highly recommend going out of your way to eat, have a drink, and relax in the recently renovated Main Street building.

Was not a fan of the beer bread used for the bruschetta as it was too thick and dense, cheese was not melted, and was cold. Black and blue flatbread pizza was good and very large. Nashville hot chicken sandwich was pretty basic with not much spice and was missing the side of ranch. Beautiful old building and loved the modern decor.

Do not recommend this establishment. The first time dining there was awkward but they had just opened so tried to keep an open mind about seating & service. My 2nd attempt to dine here was a ZERO star experience. My spouse & I entered and walked to a table. On the way, one service member commented on my spouses shoes so we were definitely noticed as walking in. We sat down and waited. Then waited some more. Then continued to wait, seated at the table while server after server walked past us to bring drinks and food to other patrons. It was NOT overly busy so it was just strange. No one brought menus, glasses of water, silverware, drink menus. No one even said- be with you in a sec! We sat for so long we just couldnt understand what the deal was. so after about 20-25 minutes of- they saw us walk in, right?? should we walk over to someone and ask for service….a glass of water or eye contact would make me feel better….um….do we just leave?? So….we finally just stood up and left. Went to another establishment down the street, sat down & received immediate acknowledgement and service. Not really sure what this place is all about….but 2 attempts was enough to say Do...

Really great spot! Service was amazing and the people are really nice. Great atmosphere, everything is clean and seating options are great. Food was great but I would leave some suggestions to make it better. I wish they had homemade ranch, the ranch tastes like hidden valley which kind of made me sad. My favorite part of a good restaurant is when they make their own ranch that tastes ten times better. One time I went, the beer bread came out warm and it was amazingggg! The other time it came out cold and was not great. So I would suggest serving it warm! The Mac and cheese you can get from there is super good and you can even add meat, I got the pulled pork added, but I would suggest adding a bbq sauce drizzle on top of the meat to add more flavor. Some of the meals come out in this like a cardboard dish kind of on a plate?? Anyways it makes me think that it was just warmed up like a freezer meal and not like cooked right on the spot, if that makes sense. I would just not have it like that as it makes it look cheap in a...
