This place could have had a 5 star review for this stay. We received excellent service at the start, and the place was nice and clean. Beds comfortable.||Then, a huge problem: Over 1 hour before checkout time we took one load down to the car. We had not checked out and there was a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door.||We spent some time downstairs talking with a friend and when I went back up for the next load I used my key to get in and found Karla the housekeeper with a load of our coats in her arms heading toward the door. The "Do Not Disturb" sign had been removed. I told her to get out of our room, and that we had not checked out.||She immediately called her manager who came up. Instead of apologizing, the manager excused the maid being in our room IN SPITE OF A DO NOT DISTURB SIGN, and taking our things by saying she didn't speak English. When I told her I spoke Spanish very well, and had understood everything the maid told her, she said, that the maid was to clean 2 rooms and had confused the numbers and thought our room was vacant. One of the things "left" was a 4 foot wide rebounder with rainbow bungee cords that was by the door. She thought the room was "Vacant?" And didn't bother to check before removing things?||I asked why the maid didn't check the status of the room before taking things out, and she said, "People often leave things and it's our policy to have them taken to the office." I asked again, why the maid was in the obviously still-occupied room, before checkout time, and ignored the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, then didn't bother to check before taking our things. I again got excuses and the insistence that this was an "honest mistake." Draw your own...

I was at this hotel for 3 nights 12/15-12/18 visiting family and took my dog because they are a “pet friendly” hotel. The check in was smooth and we got a 2 queen bed suite which was okay. However, the room was missing a hair dryer. I called multiple times but they never resolved the problem until i went to the front desk and they were able to let me “borrow an empty room” to blow dry my hair which i found to be inconvenient. However, that wasn’t the main issue i was disappointed about the hotel. The main problem was that they claim they are pet friendly yet they kept calling me complaining about my dog barking. They kept on saying guests would complain about the noise (barking). It was really stressing because i have no way of controlling my dog’s barking. People kept passing by and every time my dog would bark. It wasn’t like non stop barking, it was just when he would hear someone pass by or hear any noise (which was frequent). I felt like they should have not bothered me about the situation instead they should have accommodated any other guest that felt disturbed by my dogs barking since they are “pet friendly” or at-least have a designated area of rooms for pets. I was not satisfied with their service due to this matter. It...

Room was in reasonable shape for the price, though very small. However, the customer service before I arrived was very frustrating.

When I booked the room online, their official website had a notice that the hot tub outside was under maintenence until July 1st. I booked my room for mid-July with a special request to be notified if the hot tub's reopening was delayed and it wouldn't be available for my stay. The hot tub may not be a priority for all, but I made it clear in my reservation that it was important to me. The morning of my reservation I got a notice via email that my reservation had been modified, but couldn't see on the reservation what was actually changed, so I called. The person answered the phone and told me she'd removed the comment left on the reservation, "something about the hot tub"... I asked if the hot tub was fixed, and she said no. So she read the request, then made the informed decision to delete it instead of notifying me. If she'd been smarter, she would've left the comment as is rather than providing proof she intentionally ignored it. 🙄 unfortunately I ended up staying there anyway due to not finding this out in time to rebook the room as I was already...

Overall the room is OK if you NEED to stay in this area. It at least looks like the sheets were clean (I pray!) but it doesn’t get much further than that. The “cart” for luggage was construction like dolly. The seal around the door is ripping off, the room was hot, humid and very small. The door latch is literally unscrewed and about to fall off. And my god y’all… the WALLS ARE DISGUSTING. I’m all for a good deal but when you feel like you have to Lysol your own room it’s not worth it! The kicker got me though…. The final nail in the coffin! I asked for extra pillow and was told it would be a $5 charge!!😱 RUN… I would be MORTIFIED if this was my “Wyndham” property!! This place needs some SERIOUS work!!

This is my first time staying at a Microtel by Wyndham. It’s a decent place to rest for the night but not a place that I would look forward to staying at for more than one night. I checked in past 11pm and the person at the desk was pleasant and helpful. The room layout was different than most and looked to be setup for extended stays. Overall the room was good and appeared to be clean except for the sofa. The sofa was long past it’s “sell-by” date (see pics)! The breakfast was basic with one waffle maker and no other warm options. Surprisingly, the pool area looked very nice. It does share access with a gas station but the fuel price are much higher than Yuma.

So far so good I'm giving it 5 🌟. The room is very nice, the service not the best. I will update this tomorrow morning, for Breakfast etc. . . UPDATE: so I didn't like the bathroom, I clearly told the front desk girl I wanted a non accessible room, but she still gave me it 🙄 .. the shower head was 5ft tall... My bf is 6'2 so that was annoying...and plus it was all falling apart (added pictures) ... The breakfast was ok... I'm giving it 3 stars til further notice...
