We stayed at the Hill Barn and absolutely loved our stay. The lodging itself was pristine - well-spaced out, clean, and beautifully decorated. There were thoughtful details everywhere -- fresh eggs, juice, and milk in the fridge and challah bread and blackberry jam on the counter. The cottage had several private outdoor areas, and our own firepit the staff offered to help us with. The eclipse was happening when we were there, and the staff even provided glasses for us without us asking (just one of the many details they attended to!).
Ed and Marco, the innkeepers, went above and beyond the call of duty, checking in with us (but not overly so) to ensure our stay was perfect. Ed kindly took us for a nice tour of the property, allowing us to feed the pigs and chickens, and telling us some history about the place. There is no doubt that he made us feel comfortable and happy with our stay.
The kitchen itself provided delicious food promptly, which we ate outside on the pretty picnic tables by the gardens.

Read moreCame here for a summer family vacation and couldn't have been happier! The cottages are all amazing and comfortable. Although some rooms could use more dressers/drawers for unpacking (upstairs at Whalers, upstairs at Hill are the rooms I stayed in. I loved the property, warm pool, flowers, nature. I loved the outdoor showers! Those were a fun surprise. The golf carts are so fun to bop around town in. They give you bacon and jam and fresh farm eggs, a small milk. Very tasty! Was nice to cook breakfast. Oh, I loved the bluetooth Marshall speakers! A small but well appreciated detail. Special thanks to Ed and Richard-very hospitable fellows! Would definitely return. Only trouble is what season to go next! I can imagine all having something...
Read moreJust got back from staying the weekend at Beach Plum Farm. WOW, wow wow. The grounds are beautiful! We stayed in the Plum Barn and all weekend long we couldn't stop talking about the barn! It's an old carriage house restored with modern amenities. The pictures on the site don't do it justice. The pool, use of the bikes and golf cart, the fire pit it was all just great to use. The market was also so adorable and has the cutest gifts and foods to purchase. The location is also great as it's so close to a winery and very close to the beach and also downtown Cape May. The staff was super great and responsive to us all weekend long whenever we needed anything. I'd recommend a stay here FOR SURE. Can't say enough great things. Book a stay, you...
