We have stayed here numerous times in the last 7 years sometimes twice a year. Its sad to say after this experience we will NOT be back to this hotel again. We arrive, after requesting a 1st floor room during booking, we're told nope none are available (my husband has vertigo & we didnt want to hassle with it bothering him on the elevator) we were laughed at and told oh you can use the steps then. Then we get to our room drop our stuff off & go to Walmart for some things we forgot. Come back order pizza go to get the dishes that are supposed to be clean out of the dishwasher & nope they are covered in stuck on food the dishwasher was never ran, so I said ok ill wash them real quick by hand, nope cant do that theres no dish soap, dish rag or towel so I had to use my body wash to clean dishes so we could eat at 9pm this was rhe worst start to our relaxing weekend ever. Get up the next morning to make us breakfast & realize there's no coffee pot or toaster? What the heck all things that were there every other time but not this time. No shampoo, conditioner or soap in the bathroom, 1 towel for 2 people. When I asked for these things I was laughed at and told that never happened here & I cant get these items even though when i walked past the first floor laundry room with the doors open I could clearly see all Items I spoke of sitting on wire shelfs as if to be restocked in rooms. I'm not sure what you guys are thinking here taking all of these things away but we came here for these amenities & not having them or even knowing they wouldn't be available made it terrible. We will not be back to this establishment again. And there were many of times we spent weeks here even with our kids while visiting the area & had planned a trip back next month but we will be looking for better accommodations after...
Read moreI planned a 2 night stay at this hotel based on all the positive reviews. The room was very clean, comfortable, and nice, but that is where the positive experience ends.
The fist day and night we had to listen to a dog bark two doors down all day and then all night! I called the front desk multiple times but nothing was done about it. Later that day I went downstairs to the front desk to talk to someone about it, but there was no one there. I sat there ringing the doorbell for about 15 minutes before I just left(I was not the only customer waiting either).
On the second day of our stay we still heard the dog barking. Once again, I called about the issue and nothing was done. Then, my girlfriend needed a dryer for her hair. She called the front desk and was told they had one there. However, when she went to the front desk to get it, NO ONE WAS THERE AGAIN!! She waited for about 5 minutes before just coming back to the room. Later that day we went down for extra towels and received no service at the front desk again.
Furthermore, there is no room service provided from the hotel and to get that service, you will be charged an extra fee. Even then the room service is a "Lite Touch Service" which provides fresh towels, garbage removal, and your bed being made. Full house keeping is only provided once weekly during your stay.
As I am typing this, my girlfriend is packing our bags while we listen to the dog next door. We decided we are checking out a day early! If you want a good nights sleep and customer service STAY FAR AWAY FROM THS MESS!!! I travel a lot for work and this will definitely be added to the DO NOT STAY list with...
Read moreWe stayed here for three nights, and on the fourth we had something stolen out of our room by housekeeping. We had extended our stay before we left out to work and when we returned, our room had been cleaned, even though we had the do not disturb sign on the door. When we went to address the issue to management, she wasn’t there so we spoke to her over the whole. She first tried to justify them stealing something by saying that “maybe they only stole it because they thought we were checking out”. Mind you, our suitcases were in the room, along with the dog pen, Xbox, MacBook, and several other person belonging. I don’t think someone checking out would leave all that behind, and housekeeping would think the same right? She proceeded to tell us that maybe we misplaced it and weren’t telling the truth. She never once apologized for the inconvenience. Being a diamond member and having over 500 stays with choice hotel, I’ve never once had this happen to me. Every hotel I have stayed in, you have to request housekeeping for someone to come in the room, so I’m confused as to why someone was in my room anyways, especially since the do not disturb sign was on!!! This hotel is ran by the poorest management who doesn’t care about her customers, and tries to justify stealing!! I will not be staying with Suburban extended stay ever again, and neither will any of my crews for work. I will make sure that they don’t get business from anyone I...
