Review for Campground specifically: We came camping here for the second time this summer and I’m once again impressed that for $20 you can get a wooden pavilion, fire pit, grill, Adirondack chairs… and an amazing camping experience! People have been so respectful and kind while we’re here, it’s quiet and peaceful, the hiking trail is beautiful. We’ve heard they stock wood for you, but we’ve had to bring our own both times, so not sure how true it is.
We love this campsite. The only downside is that you can’t drive your car up to your site, there’s a small lot you park at, then have to walk to the site but all of them are really close by, and even with a toddler and a good amount of supplies, with a wagon and prep it’s not a problem for us. We got a hold of the rangers and they said it was ok for us to stay parked outside for the night since we had already paid online for a campsite. But online it’s not clear that this is hike in only. Apart from that the sites are very nice. It says on confirmation that check in is between 1 and 5, which is also not accurate since there is no office to check into so you can come whatever time you want as you just...
