Village Pantry Deli — Restaurant in West Windsor

Great little hole in the wall family run deli which offers authentic Mexican style grub and assorted breakfast/lunch sandwich items. I was very surprised to see tacos on the menu and so I ordered them because it was the last place I'd imagine tacos Al pastor would be made available. I was diassappointed that it was cash only so I had to use the ATM and the food was on the expensive side $8 for 3 tacos Al pastor. I wouldn't say the tacos are great they just exceeded my expectations for being a deli setting. The food came out hot and tacos were not lacking meat just the pork was diced and felt a little on the dry side. I’m guessing if you order any of the spanish food on the menu it is probably very good but do not order hoagies or cheesesteaks. I ordered a chicken cheesesteak and brought it home to find KETCHUP on it. Heads up to the owners- don’t put ketchup on ANY sandwich unless a customer asks for it- esp chicken? I couldn’t even eat it. Three stars because the place was clean and employees were very friendly. I’ll try them again but will have to be that customer that watches them...
