Booked a reservation for 9/30. We were told to arrive after 4PM because the owners daughter was getting married.
We arrived at 4:38 and no one was in the office. We waited a few few and someone showed up.
He gave discounts for paying cash which most of us did. This was the first mistake. So we were given keys and quickly showered to go to dinner.
Before leaving I went to turn on the heat and only and it blew cold air. I called the office and the phone forwards to a cell phone. I left a message at 5:20 PM figuring someone would come and fix the problem or offer another room.
I called again at 7:00 and again at 9:30 and texted and no response. The Temp dropped to 33 degrees and I was cold with no support from the owners.
I made it to the morning figuring I would catch them for the 7:AM Continental breakfast. But they were a no show. At 8:AM still no one there and people were checking out and throwing keys at the door.
I would not recommend anyone pay cash. Pay by Credit Card this way your protected.
At the time of this posting I still haven't received a call.
**Update 10/18/17 I never Received a follow up phone call but today I received a check in the mail for complete refund. Spoonwood Inn Thank You for doing the...
Read moreMy sister and I stayed for one night as we came to the area to view the Fall Foliage. We stayed in #101 which was on the one end. It looks as though the property was renovated recently and also from reading previous reviews. The room was clean, comfortable sleeping and nice to have a mini fridge and microwave. They do have Pet Friendly Rooms available. When we arrived it was after hours, there's a sign to call the number, which we did and someone came in just a few minutes to check us in. The owners seem super nice! Check out was easy as well. They do mention a continental breakfast but this wasn't available due to Covid but did grab some coffee on our way out. Cannot beat the location as it's about a mile to Flickerwood Winery and a few miles into Kane to grab a bite and a beer. Also about 20 minutes to the Kinzua Bridge. Great location and would...
Read moreStayed at this little Inn on Saturday with my two teenagers. We loved it! The rooms were well kept and painted in nice shades of blue and gray. The breakfast and coffee in the main lobby was great. The other guests were so friendly! the BEST part is that the owner was so helpful. I came out in the morning to get coffee and noticed my flat tire, and I didn't have a spare (yes, I know...I have one now). I went to the front to desk to ask about a service recommendation, but everything is closed in this small town on Sunday. He went out of his way to blow my tire back up, find the screw, and plug the tire for me!! We were able to make it to a Walmart 23 miles away to get new tires. He saved us. I am very grateful. He went above and beyond. PS. The shower floor could use some bleach. Other than that, the rooms were very clean and new. Thanks for...
