This is a nice campground but a little unorganized. They could really use some better site management. We saw 12-foot trailers in 100 ft pull through sites, tents in RV sites and in some cases 50 Amp RV sites. We also saw people in the ADA sites who clearly were not disabled. They tell you that check in is at 3PM and they are not flexible with that at all. We arrived early and our site was empty but we were told we had to stay in the parking lot until 3 PM yet we saw at least 6 other people park for a few minutes then head to their site. Tent campers just went right through. So, a little better management would make this a great campground. The roads in the campground are paved and in really good condition. All are one way but the direction arrows could use a fresh coat of paint and the fact that the roads are one way was not mentioned when we checked in. Sites are grass/dirt and each site has a nice picnic table and very nice fire pit. All the sites have shared electric pedestals which can be a bit of a challenge. In our case the electricity was on the wrong side of the RV and over 50 feet away. There is a really nice dump station at the front of the campground that also has fresh water. There is a central shower/bathroom facility that seems fairly new. The showers are actual standalone showers with separate doors which it nice but there are only 6 for the whole campground. There is a lot of tree cover which was nice and it is a short hike to the lower falls. There were a lot of people and a lot of kids but it was very quiet in the evenings which was good. We had no Verizon cell service but...

So this Campground overall is good. But some things just killed it. They have the cleanest bathrooms and showers that I ever used (had to use the showers because of my reasons below). The sites were large, but had lots of sand traps in them. They were partially grass, but ours had a sand dune right where the camper was parked. This lead to the tire levelers sinking and the camper would not stay level. Fire pit was great and well layed out. There is no water hookup on the sites. We found this out after we arrived and we at the site. We did not see that on our reservation and were not told by staff during checking in. I could have filled our fresh tank, but missed it. No big deal though. We just used the public showers. They were great.

The main downside of this place was the mosquitoes! I grew up in the swamps of southern Florida and never encountered as many mosquitoes as this place. We used bug spray and we all were still eaten alive. Kids still had welts for 5 days after. I know it's not anything the park can control, but be prepared! There are so many that you will be inhaling them.

Close proximity to the falls, clean bathrooms and quietness of the park gives...

Lower falls are pretty much a free-for-all. Lots of kids and dogs and running around and noise. Although there are signs posted everywhere saying stay back behind the fence and then the great big sign talking about how many people are killed or injured each year in the falls.☠️ There are literally dozens of people in the falls with their children and people jumping over the fence and wandering wherever they can get🫣

It's pretty much pandemonium. Like a weekend at a local beach.

Again the walkway is magnificent. It is a tremendous engineering project, very well constructed. Although I didn't get to look at it from the other side of the fence...🫢

The falls are okay I guess as far as falls go but I have seen other nicer falls 🙌🏻in more out of the way less accessible places.👀 It's pretty much impossible to take a picture of these falls without having...
