Coho Cottages in Willow Creek was a good choice overall. There isn't a ton to do in Willow Creek, but we were just passing through so it was great for us. I received texts and a call about my reservation and how to get into the cabin, which was great. But, we arrived after dark and the man that was sitting on the porch went inside after we parked and was nowhere to be found, so finding our cabin was a bit of a task. Thankfully, some other renters were out and showed us a map and helped us find our cabin. We were in the Spa Cabin. The cabin itself was very nice. The bed was so comfortable and everything appeared newer and clean. There were many light bulbs burnt out, though. There were 2 sinks in the bathroom which was great, but there was a bulb burnt out over each of them, and the main bulb in the bathroom ceiling was burnt out, so putting on make-up wasn't easy. The shower was fantastic with 2 shower heads and plenty of warm water, but the light bulb in the top of the shower was burnt out, so I had to shower using my husband's flashlight. Perhaps if I had called someone, they would have come and replaced the bulbs, but we arrived late and were leaving early and I didn't feel as though I should bother anyone when we could make it work. I did leave a note, so hopefully they replaced them by now. The morning we were leaving, we ran out of toilet paper and there was none to be found in the cabin, but again, I had an emergency roll in the car, so it was all good. I am not a "cabin" or camping person, but I love being able to tell people that I stayed in a cabin in the mountains. No one needs to know that it was a "spa" cabin with all sorts of amenities. Overall, I would stay here again. Maybe longer...

Our experience with Coho Cottages has been nothing short of outstanding & memorable. Not only are the cabins great, but the customer service and the care they take in making sure you feel welcomed and have a great stay goes beyond expectations. I will try to summarize

The cabins: we were lucky enough to be upgraded to the Spa cabin. This large cabin is tucked in the corner and is so cozy and relaxing feeling. It was definitely furnished and planned to be a relaxing experience. The spa theme was carried into the heated tile floor in the bathroom and separate extra deep soaking tub and large tiled shower that had two shower heads as well as the gas fire place an secluded feeling you get having the cabin tucked in the back

The Service an experience: Their website and reservation processes was a breeze. After we reserved our stay I received an email confirmation. The day we were to check in we received a friendly phone call confirming our stay as well as directions for contactless check in (covid). Later we received a call letting us know we had been upgraded (happy anniversary). When we got to our cabin the lights were on the heat set to the perfect temperature and gentle relaxing music playing on the tv. It could not have been more welcoming.

Overall this was the best possible experience and I hope to stay here many times in the future and would recommend it...

We stayed in the promontory cabin, which was lovely. The enclosed porch was great; we were able to nap on the daybed, and enjoy the sunny day time and the cooler evening, without constant bug swatting. We even had a nice takeout breakfast from Osprey Cafe there the next morning.

The room itself was great. Perfect amount of space. Super comfy bed. Love a divided toilet / shower bathroom, as it let's us both get ready and not get in each others' way. Rain shower was wonderful, his and hers sink great - essential for happy couples.

Mini-kitchen was good. We were only there one night, so didn't use it a ton, but if staying longer, it would be really helpful. It was more than enough for keeping water cool, storing some snacks we picked up from Ray's for late night, and of course the glasses and opener for the 1 (or 2) bottles of wine we had. :-)

Arrival was so smooth, you get a code so you don't have to be sure about your arrival time, which is key for driving destination. We had no pressure to get there at a set time; we were able to stop along the way, see sights, take breaks, and just show up when WE were ready!

And, it is a real bargain! Would 100% stay...

The cottages are not much to look at on the outside, but don’t be put off by that. The room we had, the Tao room, is a rustic, cozy, one bedroom, with wood floors, antique style furniture, a nice bathroom stocked with many towels and accessories, and a large rainfall shower that is excellent and complemented by a skylight. The room has a small inset that houses a refrigerator, microwave, and an excellent assortment of household items, including a sink to wash dishes, and an outside barbecue to cook on. It also has a small porch with a table and two chairs So, all in all, it is well taken care of, well stocked, and rather a nice place to spend the night. I recommend it. And the price is right at under $200 for the night. The small town has a grocery store, several restaurants and gas stations, so basically it has most things that a traveler would want.

We stayed at Tao Cottage. It was very quiet at night. The bed was comfortable, the shower was big, and the little kitchen was neat. This particular cottage is attached to the office building, but check-in was without interaction with people, which I loved. They provided a code to the cottage over the phone. Across from Tao Cottage, they have a garden with vegetables. Loved this place and would come back again.

Update: We were out in the area and decided to find a place to stay at the last minute, found Coho Cottages and booked on line. 10 minutes later we were there and all set up for the night. Amazing cottage, we stayed in the Fish Camp cottage and it looked and felt wonderful! Got the grill going and everything was perfect. Slept 6 of us comfortably and the kids were ready to move in for good.
