I popped in to Osprey after a recommendation from the local health food store. I had no sooner ordered my 16 oz darkroast and muffin when the place filled up with people! I didn't think tiny Willow Creek could have a rush hour at 3 o'clock on a Thursday afternoon but there it was. The owner, Melissa wasn't fazed in the least. She dispatched latte's, cappuccinos and other specialty drinks quickly, efficiently. She greeted each customer who walked through the door. There was a professional working here and it was a pleasure to see. Starbucks would have taken 30 minutes! Mellisa took ten. The owner is an absolute delight - just an angel on earth who takes the time to chat with you, to be kind, attentive, and clearly has led an eclectic and beautiful life thus far. She knew everyone who walked in and it’s clear that Osprey is a cornerstone of the community.

Read moreI’m officially a fan. Today I had the black bean and cheese quesadilla and it was absolutely delicious. The beans were perfectly seasoned, there was plenty of melted cheese, and the whole thing was topped with a generous portion of mixed greens, ripe avocado and tomato and their scrumptious, spicy Green Dragon sauce. I was in heaven. The staff is friendly here!
On my way east on 299 I tried their “Baskets” made with bowl shaped bread, an egg, cheese and either turkey bacon or chicken sausage. You can eat those with your hand. They’re very...
