Day One Motel — Hotel in Wilmington

They are horrible and liars i was staying there for over a month paying $88 a night cash. No kids nobody running in and out and i door dash and uber eats at night i got into an accident and they threatened me saying I was lying about my totaled suv I sent her pictures and she replied ok..... never apologies for insinuating i was a liar and then I didn't have transportation the next day and she text me that she threw my things away which Included all my expensive belongings long story short i filed a claim for $25,000 and her assistant and her tried to settle by calling my phone repeatedly and then her lawyer attempted to settle out of court she also lied and said in the petition that I was screwing in her exact words I'm 41 years of age and single and pay to stay if I did do that who business is it? But just to be 100% honest it didn't happen she is a habitual liar and a scam artist and they have mice everywhere and they are trained if not rats definitely are mice! Pay attention at night and listen and look in the cracks of the walls in the corners of the room. There's holes at the bottom by the floor it's disgusting!!!! I would have never stayed there if I didn't have to! The lady is very manipulating, and they're only nice when you're paying, and how do you tell someone they turn their car off? This place used to be a total dump. In the past few years, new owners took charge and gave it a total facelift. Now clean and fully renovated, with full on cable TV and futuristic heat/AC unit, this place has much MUCH more to look forward to. They get also offer hourly rates that you can enjoy without having to be in a "rathole" or "roach motel" so to speak. The parking lot is well lit and spacious and it's over all a quiet environment. I needed a place for a week, their prices were good. The room was much nicer than expected! Clean, spacious, a/c cooling it . The little kitchenette was an added bonus! Everything to eat there- no dishes or kitchen supplies which was frustrating but purchased plastic at the local Shop Rite- about 2 miles away so even walkable. Smoking allowed. The owners were super friendly and helpful. Felt safe!...
