For the price the park is probably one of the top options for the Vegas area. Most of the other "RV Parks" are basically just parking lots with hookups where as this park, although a little cramped, feels more like your normal RV Park.
Super nice shower house and laundry.
The park feels very very safe considering the surrounding area was told to me by locals repeatedly as not being very nice. They have security at night and the employees do know who is in which site and keep an eye on things. The location is actually really nice as it's close to everything but also far away from everything at the same time.
This place is under construction so sometimes there is equipment here and there or workers making noise but not during quiet hours and they are never really in the way. The pool was not open the entire time we were there despite them advertising having a pool which was disappointing and one of the main commodities of the park with the Nevada heat. I'm sure it will be up next season.
The dog parks are a little lackluster in size and such. Basically just small dirt squares, one does have a bit of grass. Not really their fault again being Nevada where it is hard to keep grass alive outside of dog parks.
I had called three times and informed three separate office workers that I was coming with my truck, camper, Jeep and 6x12 enclosed trailer and was told I could keep all of the vehicles and trailer in my one rented spot if they fit without hanging over. As soon as I shown up they told me I had to keep the enclosed trailer in their $50/month storage and could not keep it in my site despite fitting. That was very disappointing. At times I would put my truck in the storage to use the enclosed trailer for motorcycle trips and management told me I had to keep my truck out of storage incase of an emergency which I would need to remove my camper from the property. This is an odd request due to the fact that in most of the rows of the RV park there are campers or motorhomes that are semi-permanent with no tow vehicles or that are just completely run down and in no way can be moved. Not a huge deal as they worked with me when I needed to use the trailer and we made it work, just disappointing to have to deal with something that three people told me wouldn't be an issue. Most RV Parks do not allow for an additional trailer which is why we call and seek accommodation that does allow for our four vehicles.
Overall I would come back and stay here if I have more work in Vegas. It will be a 5/5 park once construction is done and the pool is...
Read moreMy first time staying at this RV park was GREAT. Everyone was friendly and helpful and I had zero complaints. So, I was looking forward to my second stay while passing through on my way to Mexico. However, that experience was shockingly bad.
Most of the staff was friendly and accommodating, but one of the persons who worked there just came off as extremely rude. I gather she felt I was being confrontational, but when you're asking for my personal information and want to check a brand-new rig (2018), of course I'm going to want to know WHY. After she left, the other ladies in the facility explained to me why they were requesting that information and I was happy and grateful they did. All I wanted to know was WHY. I travel full-time and have never had anyone ask for the information they did or had my vehicle inspected, least of all for a one-week stay.
The people in the park this time around were half nice and half not. One night a delivery guy got lost dropping off my order and a lady was outside. I asked her if she knew where the pool was (that's where the delivery guy said he was) and she ran into her RV and shut the door.
I also had a pervasive smell of feces outside my RV during my stay. Not like black tank/sewer tank smell. Like actual human feces. I didn't report it because if I can't even ask why my personal information is being requested, imagine filing a complaint.
If I was passing through Vegas short-term again or needed to dump my tanks, I would consider staying there for a night, but I don't think I'd ever spend another full week there again.
PROS: The laundry machines and dryers are affordably priced. The sofa machine is cheap and the drinks are insanely cold. So good! The staff members who are nice are VERY nice. This is probably the cheapest park in Vegas. They have security on-site that patrols every night and the lots are well lit. You are conveniently located to all the basic things you need: food, gas,...
Read moreI've been living here for a year. I love it here. We require electricity, which they have, we had an issue with our first spots electricity, and the staff jumped into action and corrected it with no problem. We require safety, they have security at night, and staff always driving around on golf carts, speaking and waving at residents. Our sight has an awesome tree. We have been in 3 spots over the year, started out as weekends, moved into a spot for a week here and there, now monthly. Vegas itself feels a bit rough to us, but when we come home to Kings Row, we feel peaceful and happy. My husband enjoys the quiet and calmness. Everyone's experience will be different, of course, but I noticed approaching people with respect, and a smile goes a long way. We have never had an issue here. When we need something, we speak to the staff with respect and patience, because there's a lot more residents than staff so of course they gwt busy and overwhelmed at times, they are human, but they always help us quickly and respectfully. The RV park does have rules and expect the residents to respect them. I like that, keeps the park nice and drama free. The check-in rules may be rough for some people, and that can be frustrating, but they have been here a long time, and of course, the rules have come from experience. Sorry to all that don't meet the criteria, because it's not hard criteria, just normal RV park rules. We recommend coming to stay and judge for yourself. Also, read through their website to see if they meet your requirements. Oh, the laundry has been shut down because someone had an accident, no fault of the RV park, just life. The pool is being upgraded, I was sad about this, but I'm looking forward to the reveal! 2 years later, we're still here. The laundry room has been upgraded after the accident and looks great! Still patiently waiting on the pool. Staff still...
