The base of the gondola is just off the main area of the village at Steamboat. It is a quick and easy way to get onto the mountain. The only drawback is when it's a little crowded. If it is, they make you walk through an extremely long maze. It keeps moving non-stop but but it is flat out to long. It feels like waiting in line at...

Very over priced for what you get $39.00 for the trip up and back, the gondolas were dirty, couldn't see out of the windows of the first one we rode on. Was told it was a 8 minute ride one way, it was maybe a 3 minute ride one way. Will not...
