Anytime I’m thinking of staying up in Maine. This is my favorite place to stay!! They are unbelievable with customer service. I always get met with a smile and treated like family. Most of all this is absolutely the best place I’ve stayed with a bass boat. You can get a slip and fish Cobbie from sun up to sun down and get food from there cafe just a fishermans paradise in my opinion. Plus you are not far away from some of the best lakes in Maine

What else to say then wow !! By luck with no reservation on the 9th of August we stayed there for 1 night . The set-up, service , marina ,cabin and the little restaurant and bar restaurant next door was great 👍!! The price was more then fair and will definitely go back when I will go back to area .

Great access to Lake Cobbosee so bring your boat or just relax and enjoy quiet time at the lake. Rooms were clean and staff is excellent and friendly. It does have a small convenience store and a short stroll to a great restaurant right next door.

This was a very nice/clean/quaint/safe place to stay.||The check-in staff member was nice, courteous, sincere and professional when we checked in and made us aware of the food/facility services available.||Note...the price ($129.99+taxes) was very fair/economical for the area but still a little out of our target trip budget range (i.e. $80-$100.00) - not a complaint...just a note for people like us...retired and from the deep south. I also want/need to note that we were in that area during their peak season (August) and that most of the chain motels/hotels were priced at $200.00 plus.||If you're looking for a NCSRE (Nice-Clean-Safe-Reasonably Economical) place to stay in that area, then this could/would be the place for you. The views of the Cobbosseecontee Lake and marina just outside our backdoor were great!!! This is definitely the place for those that like boating and fishing and/or those that just want to relax and take in the beautiful Maine views.||It's far enough from Augusta to give you that small town-community and "edge of rural" area feel but at the same time, close enough to give you the comfortable feeling that restaurants and shopping centers are just a few miles up the road.||I would definitely recommend this motel/lodge to my friends and relatives that might ever make it up that way and would most likely try to stay there again if/when in the area.||Best wishes to the owner/manager/staff and thanks again for a "neat"...

I dont understand the negative reviews from anyone, this place may not be the Hilton but its clean with, BEAUTIFUL scenery and in my room everything works and is proper. I got the kitchenette room and it has everything! Pots, pans knives and forks spatulas and plates and cups and coffee cups and color TV with cable. And in my opinion this is one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. I just traveled from Colorado to Maine a 5-day trip and stayed in many motels and many of them, we're missing towels or soaps or some kind of something but this room and for the price has everything. If you're looking for an inexpensive clean place to stay weather for the fishing the scenery, or you're working on your home and you need a place to stay temporarily until your place is fixed up come here to Lakeside you won't...

We stayed at Lakeside Motel & Cabins March 2017 and have booked to stay again in March 2018. This is a older style motel but the rooms were clean and comfortable. Most of the beds are double beds and we ended up paying extra to get the adjoining room beside use. The one bathroom (shower only) was very small so paying extra for a full-size tub/shower and kitchenette was worth it. The view from the back is lovely and they connected us with someone to take us ice fishing. It was great! They supplied all the equipment and we caught 5 pike. The owners are very nice and treat you like family and live on site so are accessible for any issues. The cabins look nice but are not available during the winter months. Another plus is...
