Wonderful park for the price. $155 for the week with plenty of room for my 42’ 5th wheel and 1 ton truck. Mostly back in spots with a few pull through available. What makes this park so great is the people, everyone was super nice and helpful. Full gym within walking distance on post. The post has a pool, bowling alley, commissary, and small exchange. No diesel at the gas station. Tons of laundry at $1.25 for each machine. The bathrooms are a bit dated, however, they are about to do upgrades from what I was told. They have daily activities with many people participating in the small community. This is a small post where free fall school is, so you can see jumpers often. Very quiet, with fun hikes in the area. Telegraph pass is a nice one to check out. I had no trouble getting a site in the beginning of March last minute because Tucson was full. About 25 minutes from Yuma depending on how fast you drive, a bit secluded which can be good for many and bad for others. Definitely gonna go back.

This is great FCFS campground for people with a military background, if you can get a spot. The snowbirds show up in Oct and Nov, and after that it's hard to find an opening until May. However, it can be done. Annette and Mindy from the office are amazing and great to work with! During our 2 week stay, there was at least one open site almost every night. If you are only staying a short time, ask about the 2 elec & water only sites. There a ton of activities: daily happy hour, morning exercise class, game nights, etc. We had a $155 weekly rate. The monthly rate was $465 (I think) and the daily is $35. The campground is amazingly quiet; it's mostly the 55+ crowd. Heck, the base is on a 4 day work week, so it's pretty quiet all the time.

Stayed in site 32 and there were a few small trees so we got some shade in the evening. They serve a variety of food at the bowling alley and have a nice commissary. It was very hot during our stay so we didn't get out much on base to explore. Nice level, gravel site with concrete slabs. Would stay here again. Stayed 8/29-30/2024

I live here. Left 4 years ago price is up and service is down unfortunately place is in rough shape. Not keeping up with maintenance. Written letter to Post Sgt Maj to make sure they are aware of how bad things are. They are adding ( supposedly) new sites on the hill. They have talked about that long before we started there ( 2009) . Locks on washroom ? Washing machine and dryer maintenance? Leaks in or non existant irrigation trees dying or dead....weeds. Think i need to speak with state Senators maybe they can get MWR straightened out and get Base...
