Cactus Cafe — Restaurant in Four Corners States

Hopefully I can save someone else the hassle. We didn't eat here because it's only open to military or family affiliated with members of the proving ground. No where, in Google reviews, on their website etc., could I find anything about that. But, because it's on the proving grounds, I thought it best to call the cafe, to ask if it's open to the public. I was told by a cafe employee, that it is indeed, opened to the public. When we got to the gate, the next day, we were told the cafe has been closed to the public for a few years. I'm so confused why that's not stated anywhere and why, when I called the cafe, I was told it is open to the general public. The security guard was helpful and...

Good fresh food, extremely reasonable prices. Short staffed but doing the best possible under the circumstances. Chicken Cesar salad was awesome along with the southwest chicken salad. The mozzarella sticks were delicious...
