Lumminis Resort & Spa — Hotel in Santa Ana

The whole place is run solely by 3 lovely members of staff/receptionists with the owner of the specific hotel just collecting the money for, that is all she cares about. The owner, having been asked to make an offer for longer stay at the specific hotel, she wanted to receive every single peso at the normal price while officially, her response was that "she did not know whether to make an offer or not" and in all of the questions asked, including "when she would know". The response to this was that "she did know when she would know". Not a direct/straight forward , honest person and for this reason I will not return. I prefer persons who let you know of where you stand with them, and who respond with a yes or no answer, not "maybe" or "I do not know", creating confusion to the other person, with the other person not knowing where they stand with them. Four of us were scheduled to spend four nights at this hotel but we left after two nights. First -the positive -the hotel is newly renovated, the beds are new and comfortable, an adequate breakfast is provided (as long as you arrive early), and the location is ideal. Now, the negative -the managers spend the entire day behind the desk with never a smile or greeting when you enter or leave. The communication is terrible, no information is given about breakfast, pool towels, etc. there are absolutely no trash cans anywhere in the hotel. There are no hair dryers. The rooms are not cleaned daily -only when you check out. There is no decoration and no name outside. Anything you ask the management, the answer is “no”. Overpriced for this level of...
