We arrived quite late and hadn’t reserved and were greeted by the owners (we think). After traveling Uruguay for a month and mainly using hostels this was a real treat. We were shown to a beautiful room with an excellent firm deep mattress and crisp white fresh smelling linen and towels. Due to the time we arrived and the fact we had been on a bus for hours the owners very kindly made us coffee and gave us ham, cheese and bread to eat (no extra charge!). The nicest thing was that when I asked about laundromats nearby, the receptionist volunteered to take my clothes home and wash...
