Sao Mai Hotel — Hotel in Bến Tre City

Mold on the wall near the bed, moldy bathroom. Unable to open windows at night; windows lack glass or screens, allowing mosquitoes to enter in the evening. Room appearance doesn't match the description; we received the worst room with a view of a wall instead of the garden. Staff doesn't speak English and is unhelpful. The entire garden is neglected; no grass to relax on, everything is concrete and falling apart. Furniture is dusty and dirty. Only cold water flowed in the bathroom. Rooms were not ventilated; one could feel moisture and mustiness.

(English below) Phòng âm u, thiếu ánh sáng. Đèn ngủ mà ánh sáng đỏ, ks nên thay ánh sáng vàng hay trắng. Con mình sợ, ban đêm k bật đèn ngủ luôn, chỉ bật đèn toilet Bồn cầu, buổi sáng kêu lục bục, bị dội ngược lại. OMG Cảnh vật bên ngoài ok, nhưng ban đêm hơi tối Số phòng k rõ, khó nhìn, nên sáng sớm, có ng mở cửa lộn phòng mình, hên là mình đã khóa Phòng k cách âm, ban đêm phòng bên cạnh nhậu nhẹt, nói chuyện ồn quá Tiếp tân thân thiện, mình nhận phòng sớm mà k phải trả phí Món hủ tiếu buổi sáng tạm được 2 chiếc xe máy dở tệ. Khó đề máy. Vị trí dễ tìm Ks nên trồng thêm vài cây hoa, mình thấy ở vườn và lối vào k có cây hoa nào

Room: Murky room with old lights. Lamp with red light ( should replace yellow or white light) Backed-up toilet in the morning. Room number isn't clear so in early morning, someone outside opened my door. So noisy at night because people in the next room drink alcohol. Mineral water isnot free Receptionist: friendly, helpfull. Early check-in without paying more fee Breakfast: acceptable Motobikes hired: too bad, hard to start View outside the room: lack of flowers, dark at night. Lovely place very pretty. Small ponds with big fish and a turtle. Helpful staff with big smiles. Bad points. There is a sports center right next door which is open before 6am.. loud tennis matches every morning followed by the staff preparing breakfast very loudly talking...
