Nhà Nghỉ K House — Hotel in Bến Tre City

My partner and I were booked into a pod room for 3 nights in total, but as we arrived, we both quickly realised we had dengue and were extremely sick. The ladies were able to upgrade us to a bigger room, one of the rooms with a bathtub, which was a saving grace, and we ended up having to stay an extra 5 nights due to ill health. The rooms are really quirky and interesting, they also did our washing very quickly and at a great price. Theres also a small menu where you can purchase drinks or 3 dishes to choose from. We had the noodles once or twice for ease and they were more than fine :) You get locked in at night from 11pm-6am i believe, a little surprising, and unfortunately they were demolishing one of the pods while we were there so there was a lot of noise daily. The main reason I can’t give 5 stars though is the extremely upsetting fish tank. One is holding a really large catfish, who is living a really awful life. Barely space to turn around, tank is exceptionally small for such a beautiful fish, a light is always on and this animal looks so depressed. It’s really distressing and upsetting to see. I urge this place to rehome this large animal or release it...

We stayed in room n. 10, one of the biggest in the place (24m²), and everything was okay and clean. In the room there is a fridge, AC, a tv and a bathroom with a tub. The bed was comfortable and the whole structure is okay. The hotel is about 30 minutes walk from the city center, but if you use a GrabBike you get there in less then 10 minutes.
