Firstly, Google Maps will try to tell you that the entrance to the hotel is on the highway....it's not. The entrance is located down the side street off the main highway. Ha Trinh Hotel, although not pet friendly, I convinced reception who eventually allowed me to stay with my pet dog (with the promise she wouldn't sleep on the bed). However, the younger gentleman, upon escorting me from the underground carpark, tried (and rudely) to refuse her entry. This silly young man obviously has an inferior complex and tried in vain to exert his inept authority over his superior's decision to allow my dog. I simply ignored this ignoramus and got into the elevator with my dog, and headed straight to my room. (Every time I saw him, he gave me the filthiest looks and acted very unprofessional....his mama needs to slap some manners into him!) My room (450k including a basic Asian cuisine breakfast) was ok and passably clean, just a little bit on the expensive side of tarrifs. It was spacious and had its own private bathroom. The room was air-conditioned and had a medium-firm mattress on the queen sized bed. It was equipped with a flatscreen TV (channels were basic and had a bit of a hazy image), a refrigerator (a bit old, but worked ok), and basic wooden furniture (desk with chair, bedside table, wardrobe with a safe inside, and a small table with a chair). The room opened onto a balcony, but this was open and was shared by all adjacent rooms. The bathroom, like the room it was showing clear signs of age and had been quickly repaired in areas. The hot water was abundant, but the shower was not separate, it was located within the bathtub. Overall, it was adequate and functional....but not impressive. The hotel's location is not very convenient or quiet (audible horns from the highway occur 24 hours). There are a few local eateries and a cafe further down the side streets, as well as a couple of tap hoa's (local convenience stores). However, Grab services the area which is helpful. In summary, the hotel will suffice for a few nights if you just need a rest and is more of a hotel for...
Read moreWent here for a massage for two (me and my boyfriend). We did the VIP package (200,000 Vnd each) which gives us our private room. We had two female masseuse in the room, one for each of us. From the start, the massage was poor. It was the worst massage we've ever received. They lightly squeezed pieces of of our skin and gave poor effort. One even fell asleep while massaging my boyfriend. They were basically rushing and yawning. They also ended ten minutes early for a one hour massage. They even had the audacity to stand there and ask for a tip afterwards. I did not feel it was worthy of a tip but gave a generous 100,000vnd. They said it was too low and said that the minimum they get double that amount and demanded another 100,000vnd.
I thought a massage was supposed to be relaxing. This one was uncomfortable, awkward, and infuriating. We also informed the manager about our massages and our impression that the girls wanted to give "happy endings" but he did not seem to take our feedback seriously. Don't come here unless you want to...
Read moreGiven the general appearance of Bien Hoa (not the prettiest town), this hotel is a highlight.....nice balconies, palm trees, basically an oasis in the desert of the city.||Service is uncomplicated and easy, the rooms are not luxurious but have everything they need. A Lotte Supermarket is only 600 meters away, taking care of food shopping and restaurants.||Looking forward to staying...
