Attractive lobby and elevator and clean. Room stark white with no pictures on the wall. Swish bathroom with open shower right in the middle and highly slippery floors when wet. Dangerous just trying to get to the toilet for a couple hours. In addition, a pipe in the wall about 2” off the floor dripped constantly adding to the wet floor problems. ||Receptionist did not have good English which made it difficult finding a restaurant we could walk to in the neighborhood. Instead she handed us a sheet with a whole list of restaurants but no information on how far from the hotel. She also did not know where bus stop was for getting to Yok Don National Park where one can go observe and track wild elephants in the park so we ended up paying a lot of money for car and driver. We stayed in this hotel for two nights. The hotel is brand new and our room was very clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi was not working well. The staff doesn't speak English. They don't have a breakfast. They have a restaurant upstairs but apparently it's not in use yet. Everything was okay with this hotel until our second night. We woke up in around 5am and noticed that the hotel was on fire. We heard people yelling in the hallway. Nobody from the staff came to wake us up or tell us that there was fire. We saw flames just outside our window. Luckily, we got out from the hotel safely and nobody got hurt. This whole thing was very scary because the fire would have broke our window and spread to our room. The hotel is newly built with mordern, creative style to save space, new furniture. However there are some stinks on the wall and on the floor that are not cleaned thoroughly. The make up mirror can be up and down from the make up desk to save space but it is too low that you cant see...
