OYO 964 Minh Minh Nam Hotel — Hotel in Cần Thơ

Stayed 3* here (14-28 Feb 2023,)(14-31 May 2024) & (28 Jul - 10 Aug 2024) as a solo business traveller who needs to be near to my Vietnamese vendor.

This hotel is within walking distance from eateries, cafes, mini-mart & bank in a safe quiet neighbourhood surrounded by private terrace houses.

Hotel location is good, room is sound proof with elevator at every floor. For 2* star, it's clean, safe, quiet with excellent hotel service at very good budget price. It's the best i had stayed so far in my these 2 years of frequent business travelling to Vietnam.

For latest trip (28 Jul - 10 Aug 2024), i had walking difficulities of which hotel manager (Ms Lieu) made sure i'm well taken care of for my well-being, food, laundries & transport assistance. She even drove me to nearest bank to change money and got me an office chair at my request as i need to work long hours in my hotel room.

All her staff @ both hotels i stayed for this trip (23 Jul - 28 Jul 2024 @ Minh Minh Nam 2 Hotel) & (28 Jul - 10 Aug 2024 @ Minh Minh Nam Hotel) were all courteous, greeted me daily, helped me with my food, transport orders needs & laundries. Even when i had to cut short my stay from 24 Aug to 10 Aug 2024 due to change in work, no one showed me unhappy face, they patiently sort out and made sure i had my cash refunds back with corrected right hotel invoice.

For someone like me who's unwell, needed to finish work at pressing deadlines - all these attentive caring small acts of kindness impressed me and i thank you everyone for going the extra miles. Kudos for the good deeds + works deserving me to write good hotel reviews for you & thank you...

OYO 964 Minh Minh Nam Hotel is a great affordable place to stay. We spent three nights here and we were very comfortable.

The staff are very friendly!

The room had a balcony. The bed was very clean and comfortable. The had a minibar and a refrigerator. There is also a big desk and chair where you can work if need be. The shower does take awhile to get warm.

If you do not mind walking, or have a car or moto there are plenty of places for food and coffee around the area.

All in all this is a great affordable option for a place to stay. We would stay again.

! Beware, they don’t talk English. It’s usually a place where VN people stop by. A bit out of the center of Can Tho but you enjoy the calm :) You will find in the surroundings many coffees and place to have a drink. There are few restaurants but in the afternoon, it seems that they don’t really offer food service, but drinks. Regarding the hotel, it was OK, they are affordable, offer laundry services.
