I stayed here for one night while traveling between Bao Lac District and Hanoi.||I chose this hotel because it is across the street from a pickup point commonly used by the limo vans running to and from Hanoi. It also gets generally good reviews. ||This is a typical budget Asian-style hotel, the likes of which can be found all over Vietnam and mainland Southeast Asia. The room was well-appointed, clean and comfortable. ||The bedding, linen, towels, pillows, etc. were all in good/new condition. There was plenty of hot water, a good thing when traveling in the far north during the winter. The wi-fi worked well. I did not try the heat pump unit, it was not necessary. ||The only negative point was that the room was small.||At a walk-in rate of 400,000 VND, I would normally give a property like this three out of five dots. We never had a single problem with this concern in 2,5 month all over Vietnam - apart from the one time when our bike was stolen. He didn’t even try to find a solution and told us it’s safe outside and that we don’t even have to lock it. We insisted to at least lock to bike cause we really couldn’t afford to get it stolen - his reply was: If you want to stay in my hotel, accept my rules or cancel....
