I’m giving two stars based on
900K VND, 3 separate rooms , one night.
The location of this, and all other accommodation within 500m or so, is in one “home stay” village. A purpose built cluster of home stays. They aren’t typical home stays really.
Steep staircase to take luggage up. Very hard bed (fairly typical of a lot of accommodation options across Vietnam if not accomodating for western tastes) Toiletries ok. Pillows are very thin and limited quality (for western comfort). The worst aspect is the neighbouring property (Clay House) which has a large outdoor venue which allows parties of western tourists until approx 1am. This wasn’t expected for a “home stay village”atmosphere. I suggest use home stay in other village or stay in a hotel in Meo Vac town centre.
Separate rooms are divided with doors and walls but no separate roof, so no sound proofing. Like a dorm with walls. One room door...
Read moreThis place is not a home stay, no one lives there its more of a hostel. The rooms don't have walls that go all the way up but rather a weird plastic window, so there's no privacy and you can hear everything. The bed is really hard and uncomfortable, there is no window in the bathroom rather than a hole. There is a party hostel next door so there's loud music. And to top it all of there was a fan in the room that you can't turn off (we even asked the staff and they didn't know how to turn it off) and it was COLD. All in all it was a...
Read moreHouse new and in good condition, the room was fine , need for sure to improve the quality of the bed, I'm not usually picky, but was very hard. In the morning at 6.00 started the heavy noise, with hammering and carpentry work on the second floor of the house, just above the room. The hosts seems not really happy to see you around, no dinner or breakfast opportunity while we were there, generally was definitely far from what you can expect from...
