Ha Giang Hostel — Hotel in Hà Giang

This is a long review but there are not enough words to describe how absolutely amazing our 4D3N Ha Giang Loop trip was. There were many stops each day and beautiful viewpoints and perfect little shops to get a drink and/or snack. Just when you think your butt is hurting a little too much, the next break is around the corner. There were only 2 stretches of driving that were about an hour. I was very pleased with the route, lookouts, and home stays - every stop was great. We were a group of 8 and it was perfect. It felt less chaotic than the other large groups we saw, and we were able to stop at the quieter spots for lunch and views. We truly made great friends with the other travelers and I think it’s because we were able to spend so much time together being that there were only 8 of us. Lots of Karaoke, photos, story sharing, and inside jokes.

Hinh was our group leader and my boyfriend’s driver, and he was THE BEST. The kindest man, and such a great group leader. He spoke great English and was able to give details at every stop about what we were seeing and Vietnam culture, traditions, practices, environment, etc. Beyond that, he made us all feel like family and was there to help with anything along the way. My driver, Van, was so lovely and fun. I felt 100% safe the entire 4 days with Van as my driver and he too played such a huge role in the group; helping, communicating, joking, dancing, singing. Ugh, they all are so wonderful and kept us all happy every second. Shoutout to An, Quay, Ving, and Cuong!!

As a group, we shared so many laughs, conversation, and of course, happy water! Overall, this experience made my heart so happy and I can not stress enough that you must book with Ha Giang Hostel!!

We had an unforgettable experience doing the 4-day Ha Giang Loop with our amazing guide, Minh. As a local, he not only knew the best routes and viewpoints but also shared fascinating insights about the region and its culture. Minh was incredibly friendly and always ready to help, making sure everyone in the group felt comfortable and safe.

We opted for the Easy Rider experience, which was a fantastic choice. Our drivers were skilled, allowing us to fully take in the breathtaking scenery without worrying about the challenging roads. The landscapes were absolutely stunning, from dramatic mountain passes to lush green valleys. Every turn seemed to reveal a new, postcard-perfect view.

Our group of eight people was the perfect size—small enough to feel personal but big enough to meet new friends. The homestays we stayed in were very nice, clean, and welcoming. The food was another highlight—every meal was fresh, delicious, and a great introduction to local Vietnamese cuisine.

Everything was well-organized, from the itinerary to the accommodations and meals. Minh went the extra mile to make sure we had a great time, always checking in with everyone and sharing stories about his life in Ha Giang.

My three-day Ha Giang Loop adventure was absolutely unforgettable, and it all started with my stay at Ha Giang Hostel. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming, setting the tone for an amazing journey ahead.

The highlight of this experience, without a doubt, was the Ha Giang Loop tour itself. Riding on the back of a motorbike through breathtaking landscapes, often venturing beyond the typical tourist paths, was an adventure like no other. But what made this trip truly special were my incredible drivers – Minh (the Photographer), Cuong (the TikToker), and Van (the Singer). Each of them brought their unique personality and skills, making the journey not only safe and smooth but also full of laughter, great stories, and unforgettable moments. Minh captured the best shots, Cuong kept the energy high, and Van added a soulful touch with his singing – together, they made this adventure beyond perfect.

Beyond the stunning scenery, what stood out most was the genuine Vietnamese hospitality I experienced throughout the trip. Every stop, every meal, and every interaction felt warm and authentic.
