Ha Giang Ali Hostel — Hotel in Hà Giang

I really loved staying at Ali Hostel. We stayed there for two nights before doing the 4D3N Ha Giang loop with them. We were taking a bus that was supposed to arrive late at 10pm, and so we texted the staff to ask if any food places would be open when we arrived, and they were helpful with recommendations. Our bus from Sapa ended up breaking down four times on the ride over, so we arrived much later than anticipated, however when we did arrive they were quick to get us in our rooms and made us some lovely food since we were very hungry. The loop was AMAZING with them, they took us to all the good spots, our easy drivers were incredible and super fun to have around!!! Felt extremely safe with them. We all felt like a little family and by the time it was over we didn’t want to leave. Rooms and bathrooms/showers were very clean, staff were extremely helpful and accommodating for whatever we needed, and it was just overall an amazing time. They also had free breakfast which was incredible for the price. I would highly recommend Ali Hostel, and if I ever come back to Ha Giang I would definitely book with them again!!! Couldn’t recommend a better hostel! Myself and 2 friends stayed in Ali Hostel and did the Ha Giang Loop tour with their drivers and it was hands down the best experience of our entire Southeast Asia trip. The hostel itself is super clean and has a pool table. It’s a bit further out from the main town, but they have very cheap bicycles and motorbikes to rent and they’ll help you order taxis if you want.

The Ha giang loop tour was a small group which gave the best of both worlds. Its great for taking photos at viewpoints and riding along with your friends, and by staying at the hostels with other groups, we still got to meet others and party as a big group. I was keep contact to ali last 3 months ago before I go Ha Giang and ali always give me good answers and never get bored what i ask he help me alot, actually I choose private group with Ali tours it small group but I love it it depend as your wish but when you go small group , you don’t need to wait many people when you eat food when you want to go just go when you want to go toilet or take a shower no more line to wait or when you sleep no more noise for me it’s perfect this is reason why I choose small group in Ha Giang loop 🏍️ can say that Ha Giang the best experience of our entire Southeast Asia trips
